Cosmetic Items From Login Points.

Am I the only person that wishes they developers would stop putting items like this on login points? Why not make them a drop from some old content or something.

Give players something new to do.

I like the login point system, and I understand why they like it too but cosmetics like this should come from content. Even if it's just a random drop from dhalmels in a certain zone or something.

Would get people out and doing stuff for a bit, and stop every level 1 mule having them.

Idk, I personally dont like cosmetics unless it has some nice effect.

And when there is an effect I feel like needing, I would surely want to have it available any time of the year and not only by lucky when there is a specific campaign.

On the other hand, I dont really agree forcing people to do some old content none cares anymore just to get a cosmetic something respectful to the players time. Players want to use their time for something meaningful, not like heading to the furthest place in Vunkerl Inlet just to beat some lottery spawn NM that appear once a week to get an item without any practical effect.

Maybe having some extra content, enoughly challenging where players can farm some new currency and buy any cosmetic from a new shop available 365/24 would be a better approachq

Yeah, I wish they had some usable affect. I liked how Shadow Lord Shirt teleports you to Castle Zvahl.

Speaking of which, I want an Item Level Maat's cap. Where would it teleport you to? A random mog house in one of the Jeuno zones.

I'm not a fan of the items that give you random from a pool of junk, like crab items, random meats, etc etc.

I rarely, if ever, see anyone spam those items and the list is never exhaustive. No one really knows what's a worthwhile or plausible drop from those things.

What if one of the cosmetic items was usable but dispensed a ramdom orb? (Mars Orb, Zelos Orb, Bia Orb, Macrocosmic Orb, etc etc). ....I guess someone might still call that junk....
