It's okay, you like Sekiro, I got it. It is a very well made package indeed. But god forbid someone else find it boring.

Because when you make absurd claims about the game it means that you didn't play it. 90% of navigation in Sekiro is crowd control. The game is LOADED with skills and tools to help you do that.

Not limited to this one particular comment either. Everything you said about Sekiro, so far, including the video you shared, demonstrates that you have no idea of what the game is about.

Some people seem to conflate simplicity with shallowness (the 2nd term having mostly negative connotations), and complexity with depth (the 2nd term used as praise). That's the crux of the issue.

Simplicity and shallowness is the same thing to me, except I don't view the latter word negatively like Godfry did.

You know MegaMan X is my favorite action game series ever. I would have never, ever argue that it is deep no matter how much I like it. It is even more shallow than Sekiro and DS lol.

I am not sure how did deep and shallow has become something negative and positive when it is just design philosophy.

Like that long spark in the video?

Did that spark and slash 3 times video bother you so much? I honestly find it funny.

There are many other sekiro boss tutorial videos with text saying "wait for boss do X, hit two times, wait for boss do Y, hit 3 times, use Z tool, hit 3 times". Not my fault if it works that way!

No doubt you'd think that. That's why you think DMC is deep... lol. BADASS!

It's fine to like "wait for boss to do X, hit two times, use Y tool, hit 3 times" combat system too. Apple and oranges ;)

Funny... this is far too complex for a DMC tutorial.

Step 1. Smash everything together until you see BADASS combo.

Seems like I finally broke you. So ima stop now cause.. it's about time.

You didn't broke me, if you made serious discussion about mechanics I would respond. I LOVE mechanics, numbers and math discussions.

But you just don't(or can't) discuss numbers and continue to spam duh-huh. What else do you expect me to say?

This is precisely the reason that SE backed out of their exclusivity deals with Sony. They’ve been losing too much money over Sony’s BS and they’re finally stopping it lol. The next few titles should be full-releases and I’m all for it.

Yeah this one's story does nothing for me. Goblins and Morbol bosses were ok, but as soon as everything is cinematic godzilla or power ranger fights I'm not sure why they tried at political intrigue.

I'm going to skim playthroughs to see if I can get interested, but if it's just a bunch of story hallways while epically hitting r2 to open heavy doors. Yeah that can just die on the floor.

He is joking, nobody is going to torrent this trash.

The narrative for ages has been that being a ps5 exclusive was the problem, it has been on Steam for pre-order for 2 days? it disappeared off the top seller list almost instantly and is being beaten hard by space marine 2. Barely anyone downloaded the free demo, of those that did half marked it as bad.

"Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper"

Gonna be a while before you can pirate. Denuvo is getting used more and more (it's also used in that Black Myth: Wukong game too) and there aren't people out there cracking it at the moment

Denuvo gets cracked in a month or so, depending on how popular the game is.

If the right person wants to play it immediately they'll crack it sooner than later.

That used to be the case a couple years ago. Not anymore.

People are just having to wait on the actual companies to remove Denuvo now because all the guys who were cracking the games have gone underground or got into drama.

Dragon's Dogma 2 came out in March, where's the crack for that?

Ah, it's not so much theyre cracked (now) its they stop paying for the protection.

Never in enough of a rush to look into it. It'll cost more to have them keep denuvo than the game will generate, lul.

The new thing is just selling access to steam offline mode instead of *** with it, so out of the loop

No need to remove Denuvo when the game has a built in way to disable DRM.

That game looks fun, actually. Maybe SE should make FF17 a third person shooter in space too, would be instant buy from me.

(Come on, I thought the narrative was FF16 sucked because it isn't Japanese enough and not turn based. What a surprise if it's "beaten hard" by a non-Japanese game that also isn't turn based! Lulz)
