XI View (FFXI UI Adjustments)

It's black, but still somewhat transparent unless you select/highlight the chat pane. I think they want something completely opaque like 'turn off my monitor' dark >:D

The game adds transparency to the chat window, that's not configurable.

Selecting the chat window with the option button takes the transparency effect away.

He did warn us.

Mostly things that should take priority like menu, inventory, equipment and gear panes will stay solid. Strata be like that.

Apologies, I've been away for a week for a family event.
I've updated the icon files and it should be working now with the new Limbus icons: https://github.com/Caradog/XI-View
(I've also removed a file that was consistently causing Windows Defender to false flag it, if anyone needs it please refer to older commits where it will remain available).

I'm currently not subscribed as my gaming group is taking a break, so please if there's any issues message me here, comment or report an issue on the Github repo.

So Jan 2026 13th version update notes says it has added a new a new EXP Icon "Resolved" that says "EP / EXP loss is reduced" in certain content.
XIview would need an update for the icons and stuff

The game is so ugly without these mods.

I don't even want to play with these icons lol

im using the last version and nothing has crashed all day so far

Oddly enough, this does nothing for me. I still have crappy icons.

My menues are weird. NOmad moogle has mog house menus that dont match up or od noting when I click. My regular menu for my satchel and warddrobes have some missing _ that are in the mog house menu and do nothing.

Also, causes the game to crash. I have storage where my wardrobe menus are and missing wardrobes. Clicking on storage, crashes the game. My wardrobes 5-8 are not there, but are in my mog menu and do nothing. So very weird.

You might have corrupted files or something. Did you replace the files after the version update but before kenshi updated XI view files? that may be the case and will have to redownload the updated files. If problems continue, might have to do a file check to fix the problems

If you also replaced the GUI and font dats, you'll need to restart the game
