I got this in my trick or treat bag.

Sadly yes. There are god goons out there everywhere ruining even simple things like trick or treat.

I'm mad that the public schools by me are spreading religious stuff.

Got one of those once from a house in my old neighborhood. Never went there on Halloween again.

I grew up in the Bible Belt, so I got notes just like that at Halloween every year. It didn't stop at Halloween either. I waited tables in high school and college, and nearly every Sunday lunch, at least one minister would leave me their business card in place of an actual tip. Thanks for helping me put food on my table and gas in my car, ***.

Some protestant ministers also liked to ask if I had attended service that morning or if I had plans to attend services in the evening. As I was still religious at the time, I'd tell them that, yes, I attended Mass before going to work. Protestant ministers who knew of my Catholicism never left me a tip (aside from the business card).

Talk to anyone who waited tables and pulled their share of Sunday lunch shifts and ask them about the Christian crowd. You'll hear stories. Lots and lots of unflattering stories.

while trick-or-treating Saturday, my kid runs to a house and bangs on the door. Out steps this guy, arms crossed, with a look on his face like "the *** you doing here?"

He gave my boy a box of half-eaten chocolates(we threw those out immediately), a single-serve packet of Maxwell house coffee, and a bag of mints.

Lots of strange people out there.

im not saying either belief is right but come on, really?

Because thats what hypocrites do.

They spout "Choice" while telling you what to do.

They spout "Change" while doing the same things over and over again.

They spout nonsense like keeping costs down, so instead of giving out free cellphones with 100 minutes free every month to poor people, they are giving out free cellphones with only 70 minutes free every month to poor people. Thats really saving us money!

Remind me to go to Church and hand out pamphlets as to why its all BS on X-mas. You know, the same way they feel it's appropriate to put those flyers and pamphlets in the trick or treat bags and force their beliefs on me and/or other children.
