Alright look, this is pretty simple.

You and me are standing somewhere, you cough, I shoot you. You are a bio terrorist.

Why are you dead? There are 3 answers to this question.
1)Obviously, there is a bullet in your head, you died. That's the cause.
2)You stopped breathing, so now you have died
3)I killed you because you have covid

All 3 are in fact, correct answers. One is the "most true" but they are all true. It is solely your opinion to choose one, there are no wrong answers.

I would state that, while the bullet is the cause, the reason you got introduced to the bullet was covid. That is 100% the fault of covid. Had you no covid, you wouldn't have been shot, and had you not been shot, you wouldn't have stopped breathing.

We've been doing this debate for thousands of years. This is what the ME does every time. "what is the actual reason the death occurred"

That's like counting homicides as suicides because "if they weren't killed they might of killed themselves".
I mean aren't suicide by gun counted gun deaths? I get that it is FACTUALLY correct, but then it is used as "look how many people are killing others with guns!!!" argument. I sense a pattern of obscuring the facts....the shroud of the darkside I sense. Hmmm?

Don't be silly. Bubonic Plague is active in many mountainous areas world wide. Including two mountain ranges less than 200 miles from me.
Well....I should clarify that it will be on the news to scare people to stay indoors. Yah I know the plague is here in wildlife, way west of me. XD

Oh that's down south. We're in the Ashburn area, it's nice out here but kinda boring for my and the wife (no kids). Area is full of nuclear families, thankfully everything else is a pretty short trip away. Like tonight we're going down to the Fairfax area to eat at some Korean Restaurants.
Nice. We moved an hour or so West of Ashburn. In da hills!

I think we were in Ashburn couple Fridays ago, getting some Korean Fried Chicken. CM Chicken I think.

If it was ChiMc then it was down in Chantilly which is technically Fairfax County but we treat it like Loudon because it's so close. Ashburn has a ton of good Indian places though.

Fun fact ChiMc is actually a Konglish Word (Korean English) that is short for Chicken Meakju (치킨 맥주). Meakju is the Korean word for "Beer" and combining the two is super popular there. I used to eat that all the time with my buddies when I lived in Daegu (대구).

How do you know they had covid? What if the person just coughed because they had post nasal or breathed in some dust?

what if you and me are driving on the road. I stop at the red light and you zoom on through it. You get hit and die.

Why are you dead? 3 answers to this question

1. you ran a red light and another person drove into you
2. the blunt force trauma of the hit snaps your neck and you die instantly
3. you got hit and died because you had covid

your logic is kinda poopy

You kind of completely missed the point.

After a person dies, you figure out why they died.

Happen to test positive for covid after death, You figure out all possibilities. You can assume the primary cause of death is because of covid.

That's how it works.

Guy driving his motorcycle, sneezes and slams into a tree.

There is more than one cause of death, which one is the primary reason. ME decides this.

The motocycle example is a bit more realistic. The sneeze cause the driver to lose control and they crashed.

but if you go shoot someone because they cough and you later find out they had covid doesn't mean they died because they had covid. It means you're an *** who murdered someone because they coughed and you thought they may have had it. All the while that individual could've been one of the people who may have recovered from their illness or maybe they had coughed for another reason

Fracture of the neck / spine / concussive injuries.

Tree, bike, and sneeze are immaterial to the ME's cause of death report. Those are the cop's investigations.

The point is, ME would test for covid and it could be a covid death.

It's just an example to show the point. The obvious reason isn't always the primary cause.

And this is the part where I think they are just searching for reasons to put people on that, "possibly from Covid" list. If they are DOA from obvious physical trauma, there are no good reasons to test for diseases unless the family specifically requests that.

I think they just blanket test all bodies regardless. (that they're capable of supplies pending etc)

This part I don't know.

You don't want to autopsy a corpse that has covid, because you're spraying covid all over.

There has been massive development since the early to mid 90's out here. Like area's that were farmland and pastures are now fully fledged towns. Loudoun County is basically the home of "The Interwebs", as in around 70% of the worlds internet traffic passes through there.

https://www.datacenters.com/news/why-is-ashburn-the-data-center-capital-of-the-world

https://upstack.com/data-center/why-ashburn-is-data-center-alley

https://www.loudountimes.com/business/loudoun-county-again-tops-in-the-nation-in-median-household-income/article_04019b78-e90d-11e9-b29f-afd4cca3c2e8.html

Apparently back in the 90's a bunch of urban developers sat down and drew up a "future map" of Northern Virginia and used that as a guide on when and where to develop. Because of that planning there isn't a single ginormous mega city with millions of people and instead there are dozens of smaller towns / cities scattered across the entire region that grew into each other.

Thankfully there is a huge Asian population out here, we can buy or do almost everything we did back in Korea.

https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/loudouncountyvirginia

Anyhow this is just to highlight how well they planned out the development in this region. Instead of making large urban cities with corrupt Democrat Mayors, make dozens of smaller linked suburban towns / cities with mostly corrupt Democrat Mayors. Still corrupt but at least there is some variety in the mix.

It is definitely in no way "safe" to go back.

At best, it is "uncertain" how safe it is. And at worst, Suicidal.

Idiot teenagers will literally "bully with covid" cough on, lick, touch etc.

They seem to be narrowing their "science" down to the children only. Maybe the kids can teach themselves? It's not safe for teachers to go back to schools. Hence why so many school districts are moving to remote learning for all or parts of the semester.

The question then still remains, what about the kids too poor to have home internet (or too rural) or a PC to do remote learning, even if the parents were able to not work so they could stay at home and help them?

Not many elementary school kids have the maturity/depth of thought yet to school themselves while mommy and/or daddy are at work...and it's actually illegal to leave children under a certain age unattended. Remote learning simply is not an option for those people (and there are more of those people than you think). This, again, just *** poor people more than middle class/wealthy people.

There is no good outcome for this one. Seriously.

It's not safe to send them back. But parents have no choice. That's why the only logical outcome is burning it all down.

They're going to be backed into a corner. No more UI. MUST go back to work. Can't afford day care. MUST send kids to school. On top of probably being evicted.

And they are rapidly running out of time for answers. (Senate)

We have known since the beginning of this that the economy couldn't get going fully again until we figured out child care. We haven't figured it out yet. So when the press secretary gets out there and says the science supports fully reopening schools so kids can attend in person classes everyday, she is lying. The science does not support that, because there is more to schools than just the students. They are completely ignoring the role of teachers and it doesn't work.
