Free to play usually gets activated half a day earlier because they had to run the script to update all the accounts.

If they want free play to end when it's supposed to end, just make it end. Don't add a second maintenance.
It's the 8th(?) time and they've never cared before. It was 4/3 and 4/10 This month should have been 5/3 and 5/10 or 5/10 and 5/17 but they specifically picked the day after free play to be dbags. Set up the new paradigm (one week). Then change it (two weeks). I get it. Its a huge pain to log 100++ RMT characters back in.

No, I can understand it's a business AND say it's douchey.
They're not mutually exclusive. They specifically moved the 2nd maint to a date to be douches. Both maints should've been done before free play. Nynja is a 5 year old that hasn't figured out two things can happen together or independently. Or malice from incompetence. Have to wonder if he even grasps object permanence yet. And that he's still blocked so unless someone quotes his dumbass, I won't see it. Ok manlet
Also free-to-play period does kick you out eventually. You'll get a couple extra days, similarly to how some people get F2P enabled early, but eventually you do get yeeted from POL. As is tradition, Eiryl is talking out his ***, cause he doesnt actually partake in any game content, he just sells gil. My account is active, running version update now

My least favorite event. The stupid Handle message popping up without letting you play until you link them boss rears it's stupid head.
