Masamune is the REMA you should invest in, Shining One is a good weapon to hold you over until then.

Worth getting Shining one as well and can work as a good stop gap until Masamune is finished.

Anyone other than me recognize that Shining One is another name for the Devil?

That’s so evil... you’re stabbing people with Satan’s Polearm xD

I have always commented that it looks like the polearms that the Wicked Witch's guard carries in "Wizard of Oz".

That's a halberd iirc

Still a polearm though, isnt it?

In-game, sure. Outside of the game, no. Since it's an out of game weapon reference it's a halberd and not a polearm.
Google search: What's the difference between a polearm and a Halberd?
If you actually read that link it states the difference between poleaxe and a halberd, which once again are both polearms.

The winkie guard is holding a Halberd. It's being referred to as a polearm.
lol... because it is a type of polearm. Polearm covers many of weapons including the poleaxe and the halberd.

I'm specific about it, I'm not generalizing it.
do whatever you gotta do but a lion is still a cat as a halberd is a polearm. FFXI didn't *** up when they made polearm a general combat skill and made halberds part of said group.

I did. Not sure what possessed you to jump in and try to get some credit. A Lion can be classified, this is when one wishes to be specific and not generalizing in ones answer.
This window-in-window thing is kinda trippy.

Amanomurakumo is a cheap, fast way to get a REMA. It's not bad, especially at R15. The others might take you longer to get, so this is a good holdover.

I wouldn't consider a rank 15 weapon a 'holdover' weapon. Spending 60m in currency, 60m to afterglow, and another 120m to r15 is pretty dumb to be mediocre with a weapon that will be replaced.

Farm up Masamune, spend 120m on plates, 50m on cinder, and 50m on boulders instead. Use the extra 20m you saved on not doing r15 Amano and buy a stack of astrals to r7 your Masa instead.

One takes longer. I wanted to have something in place in the meantime. And part of it was spending, part of it was farming.

Shining one is cheaper AND still useful after Masa done. It also has AOE/stun/piercing that comes with it
