Nothing he said is being taken out of context

That's the only part I can't agree with you on there Vic.
Trump puts out this face-palming scenario because he doesn't understand wth he's talking about but in no way was he telling people to actually inject themselves which is how it's being spun.

It would benefit him greatly if he curbed his ego and let the people responsible do the talking, but he doesn't seem to understand or be willing to do that.

I mean, there is a reason the blowback is bipartisan. His comments were outrageous from the moment he started speaking. No, we cannot inject UV lights into the body to kill covid. No, we cannot use disinfectant on the body to kill covid. He wasn't even talking to the reporters, he was asking his own two people up there with him, so he can't play the sarcasm card either.

I've said repeatedly, stop the campaign briefings, if Trump doesn't want to be pushed back on everything he says, then he needs to leave it to the professionals, instead of insisting the spotlight remains fixated on him.

I guess it's already that time of day for another campaign briefing, expect it to go bad quickly.

Trump owes tens of millions to the Bank of China — and the loan is due soon

The president's financial dealings with the state-owned bank complicate his attacks on Biden.

I think he knows his chances for reelection are in the toilet. He's floundering, unsure of the right thing to say. He's been taken to task repeatedly for his inappropriate responses to reporters with legitimate questions, and I'll bet he ran out today to avoid being made any more a fool than he already is.

Also, Lysol had to put out a statement this morning advising people not to consume it product or use it to disinfect your body. Gee.

I don't blame them one bit. Stupid people do stupid ***and in the middle of a pandemic all common sense gets thrown out the window quicker than TP off the grocery store shelves!

This would be super cool and topically appropriate though.

It would benefit him greatly if he curbed his ego and let the people responsible do the talking, but he doesn't seem to understand or be willing to do that.

He in fact didn't make a suggestion, he actually asked a question.

Direct quote from the video:

"then I see the disinfectant where, where it knocks it out in one minute and (he turns and looks to his right while speaking) is there a way where we can do something like that by injection inside or almost of cleaning because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number long so it'd be interesting to check that so that you're going to have to use medical doctors with but it sounds, it sounds interesting to me so we'll see"

The liberals are taking this as a suggestion to start injecting, the conservatives and Trumpettes are taking this as a "he didn't mean go and inject yourself"

It should be taken as "Jesus-***-*** Trump's a goddamn moron for asking about injecting disinfectant, god I hope some people actually do this, let the culling begin. Sit down Trump and let the actual people with actual medical backgrounds do the briefings you walking turd."

Transcript of WH briefing on April 23

Here is the very long transcript of the actual briefing. The undersecretary Bill Bryan does a presentation of a new study. Its super obvious that Trump is hearing this for the first time ever, along with the rest of the world. To me thats unacceptable, he is the President, he should you know, prepare and study the material that is going to be presented to the world beforehand. Obviously, this should happen everyday in advance of every briefing, but lets be honest, it never happens with Trump. He isn't putting the work in.

Bryan's Presentation

Trump's first reaction:

Wat. No one said anything about A. injecting light into the body and certainly not B. Injecting disinfectant inside the body, particularly not the lungs! This is why Lysol had to put out a statement, why Governors had to put out their own statements, why these "questions" should have been asked behind closed doors during the prep time that Trump is clearly not participating in.

Yeah, no one said it, Trump ASKED A QUESTION. He didn't make a suggestion, he clearly was asking IF it could be made into an injection. Reading comprehension level: 1st grade.

No, Lysol, and every other producer of chemicals that cause adverse effects if ingested by living beings, place warning labels on their products because people often suffer from a little known medical condition called: *** stupid. People are dumb, plain and simple.

No, they're both garbage. But clearly you can't differentiate between the source of the content and the people reporting it. If the story is cited, it doesn't matter if it's the Associated Press or your crazy uncle reporting it. You can verify the claims for yourself. The NYDN reported a "spike" with no supporting evidence to draw causation but tried to insinuate that there was anyway. My Daily Mail piece was drawn from a cited source with a verbatim video. Two completely different things.

I'll agree that they are both garbage, but spinning to make one seem more credible than the other is absurd. The Larry King clip makes no mention of Joe Biden, nor any type of sexual assault. The Daily Mail is a rag because it takes that clip and puts a biased spin on it to sell its publication.

The victim is retweeting the Larry King video clip over and over again on her Twitter. It’s pretty frickin’ clear that her mother’s comments and the assault accusation are related or she wouldn’t be doing it. Unless you’re accusing the victim of biased spin, you have no leg left to stand on.

Wrong, it is 100% assumption that the clip has anything to do with a purported sexual assault. Like you mentioned earlier, if you are going to take her at her word, then you must also accept the word of the following: Jill Harth, E. Jean Carroll, Summer Zervos, Alva Johnson, Jessica Leeds, Kristin Anderson, Lisa Boyne, Cathy Heller, Temple Taggart McDowell, Karena Virginia, Mindy McGillivray, Jennifer Murphy, Rachel Crooks, Natasha Stoynoff, Juliet Huddy, Jessica Drake, Ninni Laaksonen, Cassandra Searles, Mariah Billado, Victoria Hughes, Bridget Sullivan, Tasha Dixon, Samantha Holvey.

All these women have been sexually assaulted by Trump.

I never said she was assaulted by Biden, because I don’t know. Just like you don’t know if any of those women were assaulted, even though you claimed such. Just don’t take it so personally every time Biden gets accused, because the shoe is on the other foot sometimes. Deal with it.

At least it helps to dispel any notion that her accusation was conjured out of thin air. Whatever the problem was 27 years ago, it was bad enough that she confided in her mother about it and it made her mother upset enough to spam calls to Larry King's show until she got through.

No, quite the opposite. You called Chanti out for posting a tabloid source, and then you did the exact same thing moments later. You always go off on these tangents during the conversation to deflect focus elsewhere. Everyone else seems to understand just fine.
