A simple practice run would have prevented such a flub, but we know Trump didn't even want to be there. Whenever he reads off prepared remarks its like he is speed reading through nonsense so he can go play golf. For a guy that relishes the spotlight he sure has been withering under it lately. How about that Axios interview? He didn't get away with a single one of his lies this time around, Jonathan Swann was there to debunk every single one of them in real time.
Swan had to debunk himself after the interview for claiming that people are only receiving applications via the mail, not ballots.
