The Last Dance III: A Dancer's Guide *New*
What are the MUST have AF / RELIC / EMP pieces? Not seeing it on the guides. ChatGpt recommended AF Feet, Relic Body, Empy Head, Empy Hands.

Empyrean MUST: Head, feet, legs (PDL* but depends on WS and Nyame rank; doubles as a high accuracy piece). NICE TO HAVE: Hands for RF OPTIONAL: Body as a low haste piece. Relic MUST: Head for Waltz/Trance, Legs for jig and WSD NICE TO HAVE: Body for NFR but it doesn't need to be ranked higher than +1 I think for the bonus OPTIONAL: hands for Fan Dance, feet used to be good but Empyrean are more versatile even with the lower STP. Perhaps +5 bring it back to life Artifact MUST: Body for Waltz, hands +4 are BIS for most WS NICE TO HAVE: Head for Samba duration, but doesn't need to be upgraded past +1. Also doubles as a step accuracy piece, but that's kind of a misnomer nowadays. OPTIONAL: feet for jig or waltz, but neither are needed for either purpose and waltz sets are better off defensively not utilizing these question: is it wise to invest in a setan for steps? and would you main hand it or off hand it? Also what path do you take it?
Dont see much info on the weapon or i just overlook it maybe :) gargurty said: » question: is it wise to invest in a setan for steps? and would you main hand it or off hand it? Also what path do you take it? Dont see much info on the weapon or i just overlook it maybe :) The amount of TP you spend on steps at endgame is totally irrelevant, so using it as an offhand is a HORRIBLE value proposition. If you're going to use it as a MH, you won't be caring about the step TP consumption either (see above), but it could be alright. It will never be able to compete with a proper REMA though. Path B is a nice way to cap SB, if you need that for some reason. I haven't personally found there's a place that justifies this. Path C is good to reduce the cooldown of Climactic Flourish, the main DPS tool, and Reverse Flourish (minor, but it exists). It can be an OK weapon for Aminon, since that fight is based around these JA. Keep in mind though, with WC/RD/Grand Pas, you will likely not be able to get as much out of this cooldown reduction as you might expect/hope. It's an OK starter weapon, but doesn't see much/any use in endgame, given all weapons are available to you. cool thanks for that info. I'll skip on it then.
There are only niche situations where you wouldn’t want to use cento offhand, and even then there’s a good argument to just stick with canto anyway.
Path B with Centovente is pretty potent, but I wouldn't use it over Prime or Emp.
