Clinton was indeed a partisan affair, he was never in any danger of being removed, the only reason the House had to vote on an inquiry was because back then the Majority didn't have the broad subpoena powers they do now, courtesy of the GOP. Without that rule change, Pelosi would have had to have held a vote. But now all she had to do was delegate the 3 committees that would head up the investigation and let it run its course.

Thats my issue with all this. The House has Constitutional power to investigate Executive conduct, it's one of our checks and balances. One party doing it entirely on their own and purposefully preventing the other is unheard of.

Now we are hearing that the Senate Judiciary wants to talk to Giulani, via subpoena if necessary. He has definitely created a mess for both him and his client. Already under criminal investigation, it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in prison. His associates are already flipping on him.
