Whats the issue with having his kids as trusted advisors?
There are a lot of issues with nepotism.

Nausi said: »
Even IF that were true, isn’t that 100x better than having those unqualified kids (or qualified ones) funneling you money from foreign interests?

Can you at least see the massive conflict of interest in the later?
I can see it, but it looks like you are willing to selectively ignore it for Trump kids.
Oh, its OK if a republican does it.

Viciouss said: »
Just to get out in front of nausi's conspiracy theory, Hunter Biden was not funneling money to his father.
Of course not, he was lining his own pockets.

There’s historical precedent for impeachment you know, it’s usually a heavily bipartisan process.

Not this time tho. (Which is why its a scam).

There is no "standard procedure", the House set the rules at the beginning, and they are following those rules. Both sides have gotten equal representation in the questioning. The only real difference so far is the Minority has not and will not be allowed to call their own witnesses.

Which is completely fine, we saw what happened with their fake investigations in the first two years of Trump being in office, they don't need to have any input in the witness list. Especially since thus far, the witness list is just about every single person relevant to the Ukraine scandal.

I never saw that reported in MSM.

Ah, you're from an alternate dimension then. That explains a lot.

Okay, change my mind. Provide a link from MSM that states “Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.”

He was certainly suspected of it, but the Mueller report didn't find any evidence. Kind of a moot point now though, since he and his attorney have admitted publicly to seeking out assistance from the Ukraine to sway the 2020 election.

The only thing Trump is going to win in 2020 is a new cellmate named Bubba.

The only one with a shot a beating Trump is Andrew Yang, but since he is the only one not batshit crazy he has zero chance at the nomination.

The Left (the party of peace, love, and abortion) is literally calling for more troops in the Middle East tonight just because it is the opposite of Trump. He has rendered them impotent.

Trump landslide 2020.

Their gonna "arrange" for Warren to win the nomination, CNN's already been directed to start giving her positive news coverage. If they couldn't win with a wealthy white women then they'll try with a wealthy native american white women.

Yeah, defendants don't need witnesses. Screw due process. We get to control who gets questioned, when, and how much. Welcome to Pelosi's America.

There's no defendants, it's not a trial, it's an inquiry.

Doesn't matter, it's an official proceeding by the government and thus is covered under administrative law due process. Courts have already ruled that any administrative process the US government undergoes that would have a direct adverse effect that could deprive someone of some benefit are required to follow their own administrative procedures.

This is another reason why Nancy Peloski refused to have a House vote, it would make the proceedings unquestionably fall under due process and thus result in the Republicans ability to cross examine witness's while also calling their own. As long as the "impeachment" remains non-existent the Democrats can run whatever secret proceedings they want and later *** it was not being "official". They've already said that actually, I posted about it several pages back. The Republicans demanded to cross examine and question the witness's and the Democrats shot back that there wasn't any impeachment investigation going on. Made the news just long enough for CNN to distract with something else.

Again, it doesn't matter how many times Saevel lies about it, the GOP is being allowed to cross examine every single witness with an equal amount of time. The actual trial has not begun yet and the Republicans are not "defendants."

Well your from the united socialist republic of canada so I don't expect you to understand how the US Constitutions due process clause works

It has absolutely nothing to do with what IS happening and only what MIGHT theoretically happen. Supreme Court ruled a long time ago that all the protections apply regardless if someone is on trial, charged with a crime or even under investigation.

The fifth amendment is a prime example of this. A person may refuse to give testimony even if they aren't suspected of any wrong doing. The Supreme Courts opinion was that the State might at some future time decide to charge a person and that any testimony given could theoretically be used for some unknown future trial. That possibility alone granted fifth amendment protections.

The testimony acquired in the House investigations might at some point in the future result in formal charges against an ex-president Trump, that alone grants him due process rights today. The Democrats won't win any impeachment proceedings, they know that. This is a guise used to get opposition research on a 2020 election candidate. They are selectively leaking witness testimony as part of the 2020 strategy. Republicans are being kept away to prevent the full testimony from getting to Fox News.

Welcome to the shield of freedom that is the US Constitution. That thing is designed to impede and trip up government abuses. It's also why the Chief Justice if the Supreme Court presides over an impeachment trial.

If 95% of journalists are left wing pundits in disguise pushing left wing biases, then alternative and independent news has a systemic advantage in its accuracy, because they are reacting to propaganda and not constructing reality.

The "alternative" and "independent" news is the least trustworthy. They are run by extremists, people with an agenda, on both the left and right sides of the political spectrum. The main stream media may have a bias depending the person writing the story, but I'll take that over the insane conspiracy theories that come out of those "alternative" news reports.
Conspiracies like “Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election”?

The MSM is the least trustworthy. They aren’t journalists, they are propagandists, and their reach would make gobbles proud.

Of course you believe them, because you’re a lefty. They tell you what you want to hear.

The same people that told me Drumpf is finished for the last three years I'm still waiting !
