Random Politics & Religion #38: The 38th One
Reminder Trump is married to a LEGAL immigrant. You can’t be xenophobic and married to an immigrant at the same time.
Wow, completely off topic, and wrong.
You can totally be afraid of foreigners and married to one at the same time, lol.

Just call him a natzi already, saves you the mental gymnastics of justifying dehumanization. It's a legitimate question, I don't know the answer to that. It sounds like it's not that hard to cross illegally into Quebec and make an asylum claim, and they give you social assistance, medical care, and allow you to work while you wait years for them to process your claim. Canada doesn't want them, they want the US to take them instead. Who? Me? I think you misunderstand my statement.
Garuda.Chanti said: » As an example, we have deported veterans. You left out the numerous drug charges that invalidate their green card. Garuda.Chanti said: » You forget, for the loyal Trumpettes ALL immigrants are illegal Source? I don't remember anyone pleading that case. It's the opposite. You all seem to claim that all illegal immigrants are legal immigrants. Anytime there's push back on something being done to illegal immigrants, you all sound the bells and pretend like it involves legal immigrants. No. First of all stop thinking of them as illegal immigrants. These are people with money that need better, long term medical treatment than what their country offers, and they have no problem paying for it. They want to come here, get the treatment they need, pay for it, and then get going back home. Why go to Canada when the US has the best treatments on the planet? Got cancer? MD Anderson in Houston. #1 in the world. Nausi and Slore are pushing a fake narrative, without evidence, that they are coming here for a free ride. So, you have a problem with Nausi and Slore's sweeping generalizations, so you respond by making sweeping generalizations? Who's "they" and what makes you thing that 100% of "them" fit your narrow definition? I don't doubt that some immigrants do what you are saying, but I also know for a fact that there are people who come here to milk the system and who have no intention of leaving. Viciouss said: » What makes you think the families aren't paying for it? What evidence do you have to suggest otherwise? Fair enough, maybe we can meet in the middle but i doubt it. Do you, Chanti, and Shiroi agree that they shouldn't receive government funded health benefits? They pay their own way, right? You cannot make a case that the taxpayers pay zero towards their care. If we help fund the hospitals that give them the care, we are funding their care.
See shiroi!? Ask for a source , get nothing. Just a collective "please believe us."

In other news, Biden's making up fake war stories now. According to the Washington Post of all places, "In the space of three minutes, Biden got the time period, the location, the heroic act, the type of medal, the military branch and the rank of the recipient wrong, as well as his own role in the ceremony."

Lol, you make a sweeping claim that you can't possibly back up and you're whining about sources? A "sweeping claim" huh? And you think you know for a fact that people come here to "milk the system." You realize if people are here for long term medical treatment, it leaves a paper trail a mile long, right? These aren't people going into a walk in clinic because they have a cold and paying cash. Thats not how children's hospitals work. (The taxpayers aren't paying for their care either, btw). There is a reason the government was able to send out confusing letters to all of them, we know where they all are, how long they have been here, what they are here for, etc. But its fine, like I told Shiroi, the fun was just beginning. That's what the medical deferral program does, it extends their legal stay while they are getting treatment, that they are paying for.

Maybe a lot has changed in the last decade, but yes, I "think" I know. I don't point this out very often, but I am bilingual and there was a time when I was living in Arizona where I knew more immigrants than natives, and a large portion of them were here illegally. Couple that with the fact that I interned in college for a large healthcare system where I had access to large stores of data, and you've got a situation where I know a lot more on the topic than you'd think. Trump lies deliberately and often. Biden is merely getting senile. P. S. NOT a Biden fan. Poor Joe. Ok the bright side, if he every forgets who he is or what he's doing, he can go to JOE at 30330 for details.
On*. Perhaps I'm getting senile too, but I'm almost certain that my phone already is.

Those people that you grew up with arent the people that receive medical deferrals to stay here. If you are here illegally, you aren't getting a medical deferral. They are people that came here legally and are applying to stay longer. There is no way for them to just stay illegally while receiving medical Care at a place like MD Anderson. All of their papers have to be in order. And, the government stays in the loop. This program isn't a big deal, it's not very large, Chantis article said 20 families in Boston, and taxpayers aren't funding it. YEAH! tax money is for blowing up brown people, not curing their ailments.
