The problem is that Donald Trump supporters now see the world in a mental vacuum where they can only ever compare the actual outcome to the potential outcome of Hilary Clinton winning, but are oblivious to how sad it is that the choices were so bad. It's like rather than be outraged, disappointed and shocked that their choice of politicians got so pathetic they put all their support behind Donald Trump as a band aid to acknowledging and coming to terms with the reality of the situation.
Supporting Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton is understandable, but pretending that he is a competent human being, let alone a qualified or competent political leader is what is concerning to everyone whose mind is not trapped in the "BUT CLINTON WOULD BE WORSE!!" mindset.

everyone sees the world from their own perspective... except us crazy people... your vacuum is sealed just as tightly as everyone else's.

we made the bed and now we'e going to lie in it.

or if you prefer... we made the ***sandwich and now we're all taking a bite.

the endless moronic bitching about trump hasn't changed a single person's feels

and if it did what do you imagine that would accomplish?

what's done is done. trump is president. hillary and the dnc can howl like coon hounds passing a peach pit until the end of days. but the truth is Alexis de Tocqueville was right

In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve.

Perhaps I'm too young to be a cynic, but I doubt I will see a truly great president in my lifetime. Simply put, the collective is simply too stupid to pull it off. And before the smug Europeans try and agree with me, your leaders are crap too.

The establishments of both parties in the U.S. are just flat out awful. I would have elected a literal middle finger if I could have just to make them run around like the sky was falling. Trump was a serviceable substitute, and in spite of the sheer panic (which is hilarious, btw), my quality of life is up and WWIII isn't any closer to happening as a result of his election. In other words, you can't make me care about "unpresidential behavior" when the people who have been groomed to act presidential are the very people that needed to be taken down a notch and shown their place.

I would say a majority of the swing votes Trump got was because of how arrogantly vile the left was during the 2016 election.

Republicans voted for him to keep Clinton out of the White House, Republicans loath President Trump. When Trump won the Republican primary he already locked in the Republican votes or at the very least ensured they wouldn't vote for Clinton. All he had to do was win the portion of the US population not beholden to a political religion and who normally don't care about whats going on. He did that by appearing human, sometimes Homer Simpson level human, but still vastly more reliable then the liberal elites the Democrats were demanding we all support or we're deplorable racist misogynists. All he had to do was win over Joe Sixpack and Frank Office Space. Contrary to what the socialists would say, most Americans are neither Democrats nor Republicans but instead this fuzzy grayish place called "I don't give a ***". Both parties have largely ignored them because they don't give a *** and rarely vote because they don't give a *** about either horrible elite candidate. Then someone like Trump comes along and straight up trolls both parties causing indignation and outrage far better then any reality TV show could. Now you got all those "I don't give a ***" laughing and enjoying the show. Then the Democrats wade in and call all those *** bad words, which pretty much solidifies their support of the guy doing all the trolling.

basically this is how it went

Trump trolls the Democrats
The Audience Laughs
The Democrats insult the Audience
The Audience gets pissed at the Democrats
Trump wins the election
The Audience cheers
The Democrats continue insulting the Audience
Trump continues trolling the Democrats

Is North Korea secretly continuing its nuclear programme?
Will BBC do?

Devin Nunes is in trouble. Caught abusing taxpayer money and a pic of him together with Russian spy Maria Butina has surfaced.

From what I've read, his use of the money is shady but not necessarily illegal. As for the spy picture, I can't find that anywhere. Clearly it's not as big a deal as you're making it.

But yeah, "Hurr Durr I'm CJ, treason and hanging from trees and KKK and Putin! Arrrgh!"

Don't hold your breath Rav, IMHO the last truly great president we had was FDR.

Many of the presidents of my lifetime had great moments, or great promise, but none achieved greatness. Nor did most even have an opportunity.

Which is why I'm always harping about backfire. There are serious sociological consequences that the Left simply hasn't been able to recognize nor grasp.

The galvanization is real. You have to stop firing long enough for people to come out of their bunkers. After a while, people don't know what the point of the fighting is anymore, they just know that you're making a ton of racket and they just want you to shut up.

At the choice of the offended party, the duel could be fought to a number of conclusions:

To first blood, in which case the duel would be ended as soon as one man was wounded, even if the wound was minor.
Until one man was so severely wounded as to be physically unable to continue the duel.
To the death (or "à l'outrance"), in which case there would be no satisfaction until one party was mortally wounded.
In the case of pistol duels, each party would fire one shot. If neither man was hit and if the challenger stated that he was satisfied, the duel would be declared over. If the challenger was not satisfied, a pistol duel could continue until one man was wounded or killed, but to have more than three exchanges of fire was considered barbaric and, on the rare occasion that no hits were achieved, somewhat ridiculou
