I have experimented the problem, and resolved it by disableing the MIPMAPPNG (and the HD texture on FFXI are not made for mipmapping, they seem blurry with them)

I wonder if the Automatons can be added to the list of HD update. Would be cool to see them with more details :)

Download and then just move to the folder they're supposed to be in, then replace original and Voila, they work? I'm not particularly technical in terms of the DATs or game adjustment itself but these look neat!

Yes, just copy/paste and overwrite existing dats with the ones you download from here.

Actually, I am working on my next mod, an big upgrade of Amelila Sarutabaruta HD overhaul. It's still unfinished but it's by far my best zone mod, I have learned some new photoshoptricks to easyly upgrade some texture, Sarutabaruta allow much more 2k texture than Ronfaure and Valkurm and Amelila work on this zone is far below than her other work(it's pretty clear she made this mod before using korith textool and was still unsure about game limitation for modding)
