Random Politics & Religion #32
There is some fairly low cost reloading gear out there. Not the greatest consistency, so more for tin can bouncing than serious paper punching, but saves you bunches and gets you into the reloading thing without the $500 press.
I am seeing a press for $65 at cabela's*. Of course the press is just the start, but that and a scale are all you need to start.
*don't buy from them though. Garuda.Chanti said: » I am seeing a press for $65 at cabela's*. After banning people for calling liberalism a mental illness, I figured there was a line drawn in the sand with regards to offensive slurs for people with mental issues. I guess the mods just don't like it being used on liberals. It's perfectly fine for those supporting the beliefs of the active mod to do and say whatever they want. Everyone else needs to abide by the rules or face the consequences. Take that shooting comment, considering the recent events it's kinda a bad idea to use that as a "joke", though I highly doubt it was intended as such. Two of us linked a video of Trump talking about shooting someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not losing any support and you still don't get it. It's almost as if you're...oh, what's the word? Ah! Slow. You shouldn't have done that.
Honestly, we had the issue come up back when Jaerik was around and the TL;DR was that the term "retard" didn't really carry the same weight as other slurs. If one of you got slapped for calling liberalism a mental illness, then IDK. There was probably more than one reason behind it.
You gotta love when saevel plays the victim card.

Don’t be getting all Hillary Clinton on us now. In my defense I did not wish anyone any ill or say I was going to kill or wish death upon anyone. I may have spoken out of place which I admit as a responsible gun owner I should keep those views to my sober self. Had a few beers this am and posted, my apologies.

HR McMaster to be replaced
Quote: President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements, according to five people with knowledge of the plans, preparing to deliver yet another jolt to the senior ranks of his administration. Trump is now comfortable with ousting McMaster, with whom he never personally gelled, but is willing to take time executing the move because he wants to ensure both that the three-star Army general is not humiliated and that there is a strong successor lined up, these people said. --- Trump recently told White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly that he wants McMaster out and asked for help weighing replacement options, according to two people familiar with their conversations. The president has complained that McMaster is too rigid and that his briefings go on too long and seem irrelevant. Several candidates have emerged as possible McMaster replacements, including John Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, and Keith Kellogg, the chief of staff of the National Security Council. Kellogg travels with Trump on many domestic trips, in part because the president likes his company and thinks he is fun. Bolton has met with Trump several times and often agrees with the president’s instincts. Trump also thinks Bolton, who regularly praises the president on Fox News Channel, is good on television. Well this was obviously coming, but Trump needs to be careful about whom he replaces McMaster with, John Bolton is pretty well reviled by the GOP, appointing him as NSA could jeopardize a lot of other confirmations that are already facing headwinds. Rand Paul has already said he will vote no on Pompeo and Haspel, one more no vote could sink their bids. You probably can't find a classic loader in .44 Merwin Hulbert or .455 Webley, but you can either find dies or have them made.
Speaking of booze. I picked up some Piraat and Johnny Walker Black this afternoon.
