And what negative impacts will this have exactly? Trump and his supporters don't give a ***about what others think so the whole "people will send an angry letter to him" angle doesn't work.
Is the UK going to apply economic sanctions on the USA? Will the EU or UN be doing that? Are any of those entities planning military action to depose the current elected American government? Are they going to unilaterally drop out of extremely unpopular trade deals with the USA? If there is no actual negative consequence to an action, then how can it be a "*** up"?
