How do people have enough cards for +3 items already? Is there a way to reliably get 4 to 5 cards a run? Even feet would require close to 2.5 cards a run if done every day since it started. Or do bosses drop cards etc. Just curious if so i wont solo so often lol.
2.5 cards is pretty much what you get on full clears. Sometimes you will get a free KI for the day on the random treasure floors also.

If you're looking to do Fu without RNGs, pets or tanks, he's really easy if you let him only absorb Afflatus Solace. He didn't gain his large damage boost or intimidation effect, but he did take a lot of extra damage.

I remember Asylum blocking Voidsong, wonder if it blocks Fu's thing.
I'd be able to let you know, but I typed //yaegasumi by accident instead of //asylum and *** us up, lol. Even if it did work, though, you'd have to be dealing with the intimidation and you wouldn't get your damage boost.

Yeah, just seems like an option for a melee group that doesn't wanna deal with full dispel, even if it's just for 30 seconds. Could be handy if you already have the boost and you wanna just push it down without redoing buffs or moving people around.

I think I know what ended up resulting in things, the tank was probably using Cocoon, I'd yell at him but he isn't really tanking anymore these days and was his first time doing so in months. Usually with a full group I have no major issues and just tell people to not use special buffs (like RUN using spikes) so it's easier to remove things, it was simply because of the trust healer this became some sort of an issue. But I wasn't aware you could even catch a tank in enmity, but I suppose you can because of the CE mechanic and how it functions here. Feet are 6 for +2 and 30 for +3, that's 36 cards and 12 runs. It's been two weeks since the content came out. Hands are 7 for +2 and 35 for +3, so 42 total, 14 runs, which means that person either got bonus KI a couple times, or was very good about getting their KI every 20 hours. Sylph.Braden

Only thing I can suggest is to expect hate shifts on any of the NMs. It's pretty much inevitable with how much HP these things have even without hate resets or super damage bonuses or what have you. Yeah, I suppose since the enmity changes it hasn't been a concern of losing hate unless there's a hate drop so it's confusing. Guess if I make him tank some more he's going to have to invest in more +enmity gear and such. And yeah I don't typically have issues DDing the NM's, but I do often take hate, just figured it was a hate drop mechanic over me just generating more enmity. I never notice anything fishy with enmity being wonky on these nm's ever and I always go nin to these. The only time hate ever does shift is if there's a hate reset move or I just stop using voke then the mob turns. Offline

It's also worth reminding everyone that the Glassy Gorger will copy buffs that literally nothing else in the game can or will.

Yeah now that I wiped to it I think I'll take it a little more seriously and be a bit more strict about what buffs that can be used on it. It will also take Reraise, but it has no effect.

So that's the theory we're working with? If he has too many buffs then his AI goes crazy? Wonder if that's the issue. Something to consider, at the least. When he's only swiped a few buffs from people he's acting like every other NM but there is something that triggers him into rage mode where he's WS'sing for big numbers back to back and we suddenly hit for very little. Now we know he is copying the attack buffs so we're very careful to only use berserk, which should also reduce his defense, and nothing else that's silly. Pro / Shell help you survive his TP moves and Haste / HM / Berserk and maybe something like Hasso are for you dealing damage to him, nothing else should be up. Anyone who can dispel should be dispel spaming him.
For Gorger, we just limit the number of buffs we use. Everybody cancels protect. We don't use any food but Sublime Sushi (no defense food/attack food) until we're past the Gorger or we know it won't be the Gorger. It goes down fast this way without any problems. Last night we had to use a trust WHM, so giving it Protect kinda sucked.

Our main damage sources are DRK/SAM and RNG/DNC. I swap to Anguta instead of Caladbolg or Liberator since Aeonic AM is inconsequential to copy. Our GEO and BRD just spam Dispel and I throw out Absorb-Attris hoping to take something neat back. Having it copy Velocity Shot is amusing though as it kills its attack speed lol. I do know there have been some issues in Omen, like we couldn't clear a 30k WS objective even though we did over 50k with Trueflight without KOing it. Another night we were able to clear it with same conditions. But Aeolian > Aeolian seem to triggering it despite us not actually able to coordinate long enough to finish the 6-Step SC lol. Edit: I know you don't need to be working with someone else to get the objective cleared. I was able to get 2 continuous SCs cleared on the objective by myself using Herculean > Herculean > Herculean. Offline

So what experiements have been done on KEI so far? We killed it mage wise a few times np But is there any other valid way or did SE impose "mage only" on it?
Has anybody noticed anything about forcing a specific floor 3 mob? I've noticed that my group almost always gets Craver, we've had thinker maybe 2-3 times, and have never seen Gorger. Lately we've been running pld whm geo geo x2 DD, pld enters us, we clear floor 1 and 2 fully, and the whm takes us up both floors, and so far we've had Craver every time we've done this. There's just no way each boss has equal probability when we've been going daily and have yet to see Gorger.
