Who thinks Trump will follow through with his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton?

I say 70% likely, since that has been such a huge rallying cry in the last month at his events.

I personally doubt he can do much in regards to that but I guess we will see. I personally hope he will at least push the case a bit more because I feel like there were a lot of details ignored or dismissed simply because she was a presidential candidate.

"None of that affects me so I don't care"

I think to extent that statement should be how you vote. If everyone votes for themselves and not try to vote for others then we will have a better representation of what the country needs. I think being educated on the needs of others though may help shape your needs.

So many tears, and not just here.

Looking at NYT, WP, HuffPost, and Mother Jones just makes a Trump election worth it.

...then we come back to the reality that Trump is president.....

One of Colbert's guests said this.. It wasn't humor, Colbert was trying to make funny and noone would have it.

"Outside of the Civil War, World War II and including 9/11 this may be the most cataclysmic event our country has seen," said Halperin, adding that Clinton will be under pressure to challenge the results. "

...such hypocrisy.

..

I'm shocked he won but laughing at the people who thought Clinton would win in a landslide.

Comparing this election to the civil war is probably the most hyperbolic thing I've ever heard of.

It's an election not a war. People aren't out in the fields right now killing each other...well maybe in New Jersey...

You really don't need to talk about yourself in an abstract third person, Foney. We know it's you.

The post-apocalyptia jokes are going to be good for a few more days but yeah, sooner or later we have to accept that it's a reality, we didn't have a good choice, and we as a people have chosen our evil overlord.

Personally I'm just cranking up the Amon Amarth and mentally fortifying myself for whatever ***comes my way.

Truth be told, that's just life at this point.

Don't discount Gary Johnson he got a lot more votes then I expected him to get. He contributed to this more than you think.

I didn't think it'd be a landslide. I just stated the 538 forecast is all. However, I'm shocked it came down as close as it did. Separated by roughly 300,000 votes. That said, given how the Russians tried to hack the elections systems, I'm willing to call shenanigans and am willing to bet Putin had something to do with it.

Just stop. Whether it's true or not doesn't matter at this point, nothing is changing. We move forward and deal with ***the best we can, each in our own way.

Nothing is getting fixed when your starting point is acrimony.

This is actually an underlooked aspect of this election. Can't verify this, but I did see someone say he received the most votes for a third party candidate ever?

That's not small news. It potentially gives hope for growing additional parties and it certainly influenced the results.

Quite simply feelings beated rationality.

All this election has been about is feelings and hurt feelings. Rationality denounced its citizenship a while ago.

I'm not trying to be funny or cliche but when you look at our ever-accelerating rate of political correctness and how liberals (as they've had the power and presumed Barry's Blessing was all 4 more years needed) have just pretended everyone that matters is on board...

FEELINGS got hurt by a party on track to make it a civil offense to hurt feelings.

Well, since the US elected a president who's willing to work with Russia instead of blaming everything wrong with America on Russia, I wouldn't blame Putin for wanting to restore ties with the US.

I am trying, very hard, to be positive right now.

That is very difficult for me on the best of days, and I'm not being entirely successful, but I am trying.

One positive: improved Russia-US-Canada relations could mean more televised KHL games in the U.S., and I will always take more hockey.

Here's something positive then:

2016 will be known as when the DNC's best couldn't win against the RNC's worst.

How's that for positive thinking?

I needed a good laugh this morning... all the people hitching about the of police always amuse me... the only difference nowadays is that people get ***for stuff they didn't get shot for before... it's not like it just started where people got called out for being *** or degenerates but rather that it's also being done for other reasons and perceptions now...

Most critics of the "pc police" like to ignore that... they didn't seem to mind when people got called out for ***they didn't care about or agreed with but now lol....
