Not sure where you going with this but this is really what the liberals are about, specifically the progressive ones. They are about changing the law and going in a new direction.

Conservatives on the other hand are about staying the same and if any change is necessary it is expanding on individual rights.

Radical ideas are literally the purpose of progressive liberals. This isn't to take away from all that they have accomplished but at the same time it can't be used to disparage conservatives.

Read through the first bits and immediately saw the writing on the walls. All you have to do is check out the last paragraphs to see that his view never considers a Hillary presidency. This is a democratic fluff piece written to purposely sway votes away from Trump and nothing informative at all.

It has nothing to do with swaying votes. It's about the Trump campaign's legacy on politics and gets at my point from yesterday where I doubt the GOP will learn anything from his candidacy. He's the ultimate product of their platform of scare tactics and us-vs-them mentality. For example, the GOP have been using the scapegoat of the liberal mass media for years and now we're actually having to entertain the accusation of a "rigged" presidential election despite it simply being the death knell temper tantrum for a super-privileged *** who couldn't get his way for once. Or as the author succinctly puts it:
The only hope that party has is if the people Trump inevitably drags down with him this election cycle are replaced with more reasonable Republicans, but I'm not really optimistic that's the direction the sanity scale is leaning.

This is my problem with you liberal types and you too Pleebo. Why is it when Trump says the system is rigged its OMG hes losing and such a sore loser. When John Kerry said the same thing 100x over and he is viewed as a freedom fighter. I am not sure if you are old enough to remember when Kerry ran for president but thats all he did was cry foul the entire time. Gore did the same thing and the left says he was a champion of rights. Now all of a sudden its a republican saying the same thing its laughable? How much voter fraud has been uncovered even recently? You guys are so one sided its disgusting.

Where are you imagining they (the reasonable Republicans) would come from? Canada? Through the mew open borders?

If Trump loses the power reverts to the same idiots that got us here in the first place. ..

It's just that now Trump has lured the media so far out of their caves that there are no longer any grounds for denying their bias.

Yeah it is petty. I don't care who it is. One key difference being Trump has been doing this month's before the election has even been held. He knows he's lost it and now wants to delegitimize the results. Just like what he did with Obama and birtherism.
