Where has he done anything outside his power?

If he has, why hasn't either other branch performed their constitutional duty to check/balance those actions or challenge him on them?

No, the GOP merely lobs half-hearted lawsuits at it knowing full well that they're meaningless wastes of taxpayer money, and that his executive orders are well within his rights and powers as POTUS.

Actually, there's a reason why the Executive branch does not have the ability to write laws.

The president can propose legislation though, it still needs to go through congress but they are not without the power. Their influence is big enough to make any law they propose considered.

Immigration and gun control are easy examples, ones that the courts declared unconstitutional.

Actually, they have. The Supreme Court has overturned at least 12 of the EOs over the years.

So what's unconstitutional about executive orders ...?
Keep up with the subject instead of strawmaning an argument there, bub.

Yeah, and there you have it. The balance worked. End of story.

There's really nothing you're adding here other than saying "okay, well, he did a thing under his power, and the checking/balancing branch that oversees that said no, it goes to far, and countermanded it."

He did a thing. You know. Trying to get things done. That thing you lauded Putin for. He did everything in his power to ensure something got done in the way he saw fit, which is what he was supposed to do, it's why he was elected to the office.

Unlike the Senate, which does everything in its power to see that nothing gets done at all if it won't get done the way they want it to. Which on one level is within their rights and powers, but now they're openly obfuscating the judicial branch which is a bit of a betrayal of their charged duty, but that seems to be going over everyone's head these days...

It's not technically unconstitutional but it feels unconstitutional. And isn't that what really matters?

How about you two go back to the shithole of Ni instead of bringing your feces over here.

Careful, now. They tend to get really defensive when you insult their club.
You mean like he just got wildly defensive because someone said they should teach him a new fallacy and then you strode in to defend him like usual? Lol... Geez...

I'm sorry, did I say anything whatsoever about the fallacy talk? No, no I didn't. Nice try.

Never heard of McMullin, but he already sounds better than Clinton and Trump.
He's an ex-CIA operative that is nipping at the heels of Trump in the polls in Utah.
ex-spy subverts process, becomes beloved dictator through undemocratic election feigning legitimacy.

Hey. This sounds vaguely familiar.

I think there's a copyright infringement going on somewhere here.
And Putin is still a better leader than either Trump or Clinton.

At least he gets ***done. Maybe not ethically or legally, but ***still gets done. So, it's like taking the worst of Trump and the worst of Clinton together and putting them on a ritz riding champion of Russia!
Knows how to take care of the media too.

I guess if Putin is a great leader in that regard then Clinton will be an amazing leader.
