Ideally, federally, because I don't like systems that vary results depending upon the whims of whether or not you turned someone's sister down for a date. (Small town politics can *** right off).

Realistically, at this point in time, I'm going to say state.

In no way ideal is "local," which is generally the way it's handled.
Truthfully, it is funded by all 3 levels.

Federal grants to states to help support funding 9Source)

States appropriations to local levels (too many sources to pick one specific out, it's a general practice).

Local appropriations based by local taxes (sales, property, business).

Percentages vary, but generally speaking, Local trumps State, and State trumps Federal in terms of actual percentages.

I don't like volunteer fire services. Please read that carefully before criticizing. I'm not saying I don't like the people in those services. I think they're by and large great men and women who volunteer to do something very dangerous to keep their communities safe.

I don't like that it's not a paid service and I don't like that literally everyplace I've lived they've been treated as an annoyance and hindrance by local budget makers. They're a vital service, they should be a full-time, staffed, well-equipped service.
Almost impossible to fund and maintain for rural areas. I mean, you are looking at a centralized location that can only support so many people, and in some areas, you are looking at only a dozen or so houses.

Lordgrim, if you are serious about running for president you have a bit of work ahead of you.

In the last few decades there have been only two paths to a credible run. Credible = being on the ballot in most states and getting mentioned in the national media. Credible =/= having a chance at winning.

The two paths are either a career in "public service" or being a billionaire. I think the lowest rungs on the "public service" path are mayor of a major city (Rudy Guiliani) or a leadership position in the house (Newt Gingrich). The billionaire path must include name recognition as well.

The unknown third party run can be fun. I know, I worked for Louis Abolafia's 1968 run, but it goes nowhere. Even with some name recognition which Louis had.

So stop dinking around on infowars and FFXIAH, get busy, start by running for city council or county commissioner or your state house. Work your way up to where you can launch a credible run.

You don't ask questions you ask loaded questions that only your answer is the right one.

But seriously i Love my nation but i hate what kind of government replaced our founding government.

This is the Democracy we are under, where its illegal to dance and kiss and show emotion on state grounds we pay taxes for. This is the democracy you love

I don't ask loaded questions to you. I ask them to other people, but for you, I ask simple questions because you are much easier to reply "Gotcha!" answers to.

It's called "evolution of the political climate."

What you are wanting, that world doesn't exist anymore. The founding government was ideal in 1776 because 1776 world is much different than 2016 world. What you are asking for is not for an ideal government, but one where it would fall apart the moment it was enacted.

Face it, if the American Revolution happened today, we would have a completely different form of government today than what we did made in 1776.

I am well aware of what i am doing chanti and you're wrong about the paths.

Nowhere in the constitution does it mention that you have a to be a millionaire or billionaire to run for high office

nowhere in the constitution does it say you must have previous experience in politics or held a office in relation to town, state, or federally to run for high office.

nowhere in the constitution does it say you must be part of a political party organization to run for high office.

i meet the requirements besides age, still got to wait 4 years. i was born in the US by two american citizens. Thats better then lieing ted cruz

You can't be running as an Independent and say you are not going to run under a political party. That's yet another counter to your own argument.

Yeah, it seems the "but it helps" part is what's missing in this presidential fantasy. Like, "it helps" to have the entire country know who you are. "It helps" to not spend all of your time campaigning on a video game website where anywhere between 0-3 people take you seriously. "It helps" to understand how reality works.
