Since elections are occasionally about actual issues:
Hillary Clinton’s Comprehensive Agenda on Mental Health
If anything, better, more accessible mental health care would drastically reduce a lot of the shitposting in these threads.
More access and easier to access would also cut down on a lot of these mass shootings we keep hearing about. Then again, I also think it'd be a good thing to include a mental health portion in the current gun buyer background check system to weed out mentally unstable people who clearly shouldn't have access to guns to begin with.

I think we can all agree on this. I feel like the mental health test should apply to a lot of things though and should be like a drivers license, in that you need to get it every 6 years or so.

Referring to it as a "test" and treating it as a standard by which you keep certain rights further stigmatizes psychological impairments and will make people more reclusive and less likely to be honest about problems they're experiencing.

And what conditions allow you to keep your rights?

What conditions are automatic disqualifiers?

I'm not saying I don't truly understand your point, and to some extent I agree with it, but I'm not sure you understand the wholesale type of change you're talking about.

You're talking about denying people Constitutional rights on the basis of a diagnosis that is never 100% certain despite extreme likelihood.

See, here's the thing. You can joke about my being socialist or whatever, but there's a reason I registered Republican so many moons ago. Yes I've since changed party (this year, specifically to support specific candidates in the primaries), but many of my core beliefs remain intact from many years ago.

It's just that my approach to how best to achieve those goals has adapted.

And the Republican party has changed a lot even in the past 16 years, let alone the past 60.

Also, to be honest, I'd like to think it's not conservative nor liberal talk.

It's medical.

I care about people getting the help they need to treat their conditions and live normal lives.

Even many -- not all, unfortunately -- but many people with psychotic disorders can lead very normal lives if they're receiving and taking their medications reliably and otherwise engaging in the proper therapies.

And not everyone who shoots up a church or synagogue or night club is psychotic. Or even depressed.

Sometimes they're just *** who had too much motivation on a very bad day.

It's change dramatically from the last 8 years. It's not what it used to be.

Oh I agree, a system like that would have to be well defined and be more geared towards the health of the nations people. I'm fairly certain it would turn into an abused system though.

If only we had politicians that actually geared about the people of America, then maybe we could have something like this in place.

Ahhhh. So much crossover with XI when it comes to my feelings on endgame and gearing and all that and to some extent it's actually applicable here.

Creepy.

I will go with Ramy's 60.

My grandfather was a Rockefeller republican.

But then again nothing is what it used to be.

Fun Fact: Politicians are actually Beastmasters.

Their greatest weapon is Charm, which they use to charm the sheep into fighting their fight for them, while the Beastmaster politician sits back, enjoys a refreshing bottle of dawn mulsum tea, and watches the fight go on.

The real winner is whoever equips the CHR best, and can stick the Charm for the longest before it wears off and the sheep just goes back to their flock.

The winner is the guy who popped Hoo Mjuu and got the stick on the first try, while the guy that actually cares about BST is 0/50.

Keepin' pets in jugs... why? Why, when you can keep'em on leashes and have'em out all the time?! Dogs are master race pets!

Well. We were having a good time.

Then this happened.

I just don't think RNG's should use guns without an extensive background check and a mental fortitude check. They need at least 150 MND and INT to use a gun.

Bows, Crossbows and Axes are all ok though.

This is the ***I'm talking about. It just takes one mentally unstable Corsair and a series of failed snake eyes and an overage of busts then next thing you know we have the next Windurst Rhinostery Massacre.

Like really do we want some crazed nut who relies on rolling "cards" and shooting cards from some cannon strapped to a piece of wood running around the streets of bastok at night?
