This Bernie chanting is cracking me up.

There were conflicting stories about Tulsi Gabbard and Wasserman-Schultz's breakdown, and Gabbard's leave, also. I forgot if this even was discussed in P&R. I guess I don't understand why this DNC stuff is a shock.
Why wouldn't the party structure support the lifelong member over a self-declared Socialist who joined the party more or less a year ago, in a cynical bid to use their apparatus as a path to the Presidency? Primaries are not democracy; they are a mechanism for the party to choose a candidate. People can argue all day long about what should be, but this is what is, and expecting to be different because your dude lost is just petty. If Sanders was that great a candidate, he'd have won; Hillary is an absolutely terrible campaigner. Whatever people think or don't think about her qualifications to be President, she's just dogshit on the campaign trail, as evidenced by getting taken to the ropes by a cranky old man and a reality TV star. All of the leaked emails I have seen were being sent in May, once Clinton had all but secured the nomination. Discussing ways to get behind her and ease Sanders out of the race are what I would expect the DNC to be doing at that point in time.
Wowzers, please tell me someone else is watching DNC

That's spin if I've ever heard it. Collusion with top DNC officials to promote stories designed to sabotage Sanders (by using his religion against him, among other things) in key remaining states is not easing him out of the race, especially when the campaign was still active. What does a Democrat have to do for you to admit they were wrong? Did that actually happen, or were they just floating ideas? And like I said, by May, the race was over. There were no "key remaining states."
Oh, Sarah Silverman. I never liked you, but the way you bombed and turned the crowd against you gave me a glimmer of respect for you in an unintended way.

She stuck to her script of trying to reel in the Bernie supporters, but she was SO SEETSEETHand just couldn't contain her rage against them. Franken has had the best line so far, "I got my doctorate in megalomania studies from Trump University."

Was surprised to hear Bernie supporters chanting "Lock her up." Apparently people don't like being lied

Franken can be fairly funny at times, but it's hard to be remembered when the talentless hack of a comedienne that you share the stage with destroys the mood by telling Sanders supporters they're being ridiculous. You would think a person who does comedy for a living would know how to not turn a crowd against them, but that only makes sense if you think what Silverman does could actually be called "comedy". This could be her new laugh track: "BER-NIE! BER-NIE! BER-NIE!" Then again, the last time I remember Franken being funny was during his SNL years. I wasn't particularly impressed tonight, but maybe that was because even the delegates didn't seem impressed.

Not sure how that is construed as not being against gay rights when his own stated beliefs say otherwise. I suggest you consider that his VP is the most homophobic governor in the country.
