How much do you charge to level someone from 1-99?
Highly recommend Nocki for the merc services he offers. Did some last night and he was great. Well worth the prices!

Mini Rant: Don't ask me to sell you an 8m item for 4m, it will just make me more inclined to never give you a discount on anything. If anything, people should treat this as they would any other service and tip me! (kidding, sort of) I've structured my prices on a model of 6m/hour because that's what I could make spamming delve or higher if I do ambu. Some prices are lower than this ratio because I wanted the structure to make sense. Please don't waste my time, thanks.
Even though I can theoretically make 6m an hour, I stand around in town just as much as the next guy. If you catch me during one of these moments of nothingness I'm more inclined to give you a discount on most things. (Reisen T2s and Ru'Aun T3s are an exception to this because getting pops is a pain in the ***) /rant P.S. Bump. I would have used you but got a deal on shiva ;0. 3 mil a abj:0

Aside from that, haggling over price is pretty much the norm for the majority. I deal with service providers pretty regularly, and while at this point everything is sorted, I owe it to my business to get the best possible price. That said, you should be attempting to make as much as you can from your services, so it's a bit of a wash. I've noticed that in Japan with the tipping thing. Like I tried to tip the waiter he gave it back ;0 why is this?

Japan has many formalities and customs at all levels of social interactions. A prime example of this is a JP friend of mine responded to my merc shout regarding an item she wanted. I told her I'm not going to charge a long-time friend but would rather help her farm the NM. She insisted (heavy emphasis) that at the least I accept whatever tip she deemed to give me. I didn't fight her any longer on it. :) You can end up insulting someone by not accepting their gratuity, depending on the situation. Offline

I'm aware of this, which is why I said sort of. But it's also a very foreign concept for americans to haggle for anything that isn't considered a "big purchase". (Cars, Houses, etc...) I don't know a single store that would accept a lower price if you asked for it. Odin.Drakenv said: » I've noticed that in Japan with the tipping thing. Like I tried to tip the waiter he gave it back ;0 why is this? I've heard that it's a cultural thing in Japan that tipping someone is more of a status move than a thank you to the service provider. It's like saying "You need this more than I do." Leviathan.Comeatmebro

Expecting a discount on ruaun t3 drops is silly though, the cost of pops outweighs what most people charge for the abjs lately. Offline

I was recently doing Vir'ava for someone and the number of pops I had used began to outweigh the amount I would've gotten back. (Which is like 12 pops or so.) So, I just told the buyer that it was no longer profitable for me to be spending time on this NM and I sold him the other 2 things he wanted. The reason I wanted to rant in the first place is because someone said that "Oh you should sell it for this price because I bought it from someone else at this price." Then don't message me??? ?????? I'm just stubborn basically . Offline
