Any sane person could have told you the above would have happened in the first place. Where do you think transgender people were going to the bathroom prior to these new laws? So yeah, I'm inconvenienced because progressives fail to think before they act. Who are you to say a transgender person wouldn't take snapshots of women using a shower. If the only thing that defines man or woman is my own personal identification on any particular day, then I can have a penis, go into the women's shower, snap pictures of women showering, and call myself a women while doing it. It's that simple. So creating more problems just so we have to deal with them is called progress now.. Sounds about right actually. Doing the right thing like this is never easy. you think it was easy to make everyone abolish slavery? Or easy to get the wall taken down in Berlin? we do what's right for our fellow man because everyone deserves basic human rights, not because it's easy. Considering abolishing slavery was an after thought, yeah it was easy. Didn't Reagan tear the wall down with a few words? Pretty easy. Why was that wall there to start with? Ohh.. yeah.. Sure everyone deserves basic human rights. So are we going to agree what the word basic equates to? Probably not. Ragnarok.Nausi said: » That's kinda my point. Its illegal if a nontrans did it. So not an issue. Well where is the authority on what's trans and what isn't? Altimaomega said: » It's not but people here seem to think it should be. The only people who bring up this and the infamous cake debacle cyclically are the conservatives here, and you're whining about beating dead horses? Bismarck.Josiahfk said: » Altimaomega said: » It is unacceptable, we are suppose to be living in a civilized society here ffs! You progressive are literally taking us backwards! how is giving more human beings the same rights you and I share today, moving backwards? It is done irresponsibly with no thought on how it will effect anything else moving forwards. YEAH! we gave women the right to vote and now we've got Obama.

I didn't bring it up, and as soon as it was brought up I qued the dead horse. And guess what we all have our sticks pounding away. And then you will be punished, as a woman. There are all kinds of privacy laws you are breaking here, and hiding behind "the bathroom rule" would not save you. There is nothing that allows people to do this, and I would expect those students to be expelled. The cornerstone of the whole case is "let people use whatever bathroom they feel comfortable with". Almost certainly followed by some inner monologue of "what could go wrong"
Fast forward to very clear consequences, and everyone still says "what could go wrong?" Madness. That "walking away" sure didn't last long.

I get what people are saying vs Nausi's point that things would be illegal if a nontrans did something, and that doctors are supposed to be the ones deciding someone is 'officially' transgender... So the docs know, and the trans people know, how does everyone else know?
Are they going to be carrying trans-ID so that when an awkward bathroom altercation starts up they can prove they are allowed to be there?
