Including any pending edit no longer being able to go through? I know the intention is to make people think before they post, but that is more likely wishful thinking than something that will become a reality. Thought about that. Ultimately decided to go with disabling it entirely, but if the reality after a bit shows we need something, then sure. As with any feature I introduce, if it clearly isn't working as intended, it can be changed or removed (two way blocks, anyone)? But this seemed like the best starting point, so we'll see how it goes. Ultimately, something had to change to make this section worth the hassle; can think of this as a first draft, if you like. If it works out, awesome - if it doesn't, we take the lessons from it and try the next thing. Offline

oh, so now I'm "you people", how very uncanadian of you to say.
faux canadiennes doesn't mean "young Canadian females", as faux means fake, or false. Still, I am no French Canadian, which is what term "Canadienne" means, not "young Canadian females". So you failed twice here. Offline

Honestly we have block function I think moderation should take a hands off approach. If you don't like someone block them.

I post as Drama Torama when I'm participating in the discussion (or moderating actual P+R talk). I don't use it when I'm just being social or acting as an administrator. fonewear said: » Honestly we have block function I think moderation should take a hands off approach. You in particular generate a tremendous volume of complaints with posts that somehow manage to be both nonsensical AND offensive, so I can see why you'd want less moderation. Where's my breadsticks? I need my breadsticks!
