It is never Okay to be ignorant. Sorry. It is especially never Okay to be willing ignorant and be unwilling to educate yourself because reasons. Life owes you nothing.
You say this, right after this:

When your partner is on birth control and you're taking precautions as well is that still considered less than 100%? Because in statistics class I'm fairly certain 99.9% and 99% comes fairly close to 100%.

I'm merely pointing this out because your entire argument is based on like a .0001pecent chance of people screwing up and having an unplanned pregnancy.

Especially when you figure that .0001 percent of the people in the world *** is still a lot of frickin' babies.

So, have we determined that fetuses have no right to live because somebody said so?

Not that I really care anyway. My stake in the game only involves the group using indirect federal money for abortions.

And regardless on what anyone says, that is what is happening. The money the federal government gives to Planned Parenthood frees up other money to be used for abortions. The law states that the federal government cannot give money to directly fund abortions, but they allow this loophole to exist, because reasons.
The state pays for the roads used to access PP buildings. PP didn't need to pay for their own roads, freeing up money for abortions. Therefore the state indirectly funds abortions.

Spoiler alert. People don't all like the pill. I personally wouldn't want to put Carrot on it. A pill that prevents pregnancy, but has been shown in studies to change who a woman is attracted to?

Also can turn an otherwise stable woman into an emotional trainwreck.

Messing with hormones is shitty, shitty, super-shitty.

You would be the one that claims there is no such thing as a tax loophole, yes?

I wasn't in the mood for that particular headache today, so I didn't say it, but...yeah.

I encourage all my friends or family to go on the pill, because every woman should have the right to decide when she wants to be pregnant since the pill also covers them from anything unforeseen or unplanned for/out of their control ftw.

As Seha said and we previously discussed, pill-based hormonal birth control is hardly ideal for everyone. Even if you discount the side effects some users experience (and you shouldn't, because they can be quite severe and shitty), there's the fact that you have to studiously take them on a certain schedule and missing doses or changing the routine can drastically lower their effectiveness.

But we can't pursue non-hormonal reversible permanent birth control in this country because...reasons?

Money, I have to assume. This is one where I am willing to blame big pharma.

And permanent birth control methods aren't even 100% effective and can have drastically negative side effects themselves. Including, but by no means limited to, mind-blowing pain.

Also back when I used it my doctor clearly told me I couldn't just take it forever, but needed "a break" eventually so to speak.

That show had a quote in one episode that I had actually wanted to post, but I don't believe it was that episode. I'll see if I can hunt it down.
Dr. Gregory House said:
"Yes. The problem with exceptions to rules is the line-drawing. It might make sense for us to kill the *** that did this to you. I mean, where do we draw the line? Which *** do we get to kill and which *** get to keep on being ***." The nice thing about the abortion debate is that we can quibble over trimesters but ultimately, there's a nice clean line: birth. Morally there isn't a lot of difference. Practically, huge."

Sorry but I assume some guys here have no clue, considering some don't even know how the female body works at all.

Brb I need to use my hidden ovulation to trick some man into impregnating me, steal his money, sue him for rape, abort the baby and then sell the remnants.

This is how it's like to live as a woman according to saevelism.

I guess if someone had never gotten sick in their lives or been to a pharmacy yeah, to read a bottle of something they purchased, they might not know that drugs have side effects and no drug out there can be taken by 100% of people safely.

But that's a pretty small net of people in first world countries.

WOMEN CAN TAKE BIRTH CONTROL THERE'S NO NEED FOR ABORTIONS JOSI.

What does an episode of ST:ToS have to do with anything?
