Starlight Celebration 2015

Anyone know how to get the new emote "leaf bench?" I did the advanced versions of each mini-game and got tune KIs I didn't have. POL says "During the Starlight Celebration, special minigames will be available for adventurers to enjoy. Clearing this mini game will not only grant the winner a new sitting emote, but also Starlight Celebration-themed items, synthesis ingredients for the Orchestrion furnishing, as well as sheet music key items!"

You need to win on Advance twice. first to get the orcestron item, second to win the leaf bench. Throwing the orchestrion item will reset you.

I did the event on advanced years ago i got leafbench on my first advanced win even with not having the orcestron item in inventory. I did have an option to buy the item for 25k though.

Just where do you start this advanced minigame?

I've only cleared Windy's, three times. I got Dream Mittens, Dream Mittens +1, and a Candy Cane out of it.

Also, Sandy's is ridiculous hard. Or maybe I need sleep, something like that.

Wear the dream mittons before you talk to him, and it should open up the option to play the advanced game. The Sandy one is annoying but not too bad. Just pay attention to:

- how many exclamation points he uses
- how many chicks run across the stage
- glance quickly at the singers and note things like whether they face a different direction than usual, equip a staff weapon or club, have a pumpkin helm, or wear different footwear
- take note of the tarus' instruments and emotes
- mark down the layout of the chests and their occupants and if they're golden
- note if doors close left to right or right to left
- note if scene seems to take longer than usual

A few of the above are hard to tell, but if you luck out and get enough of the obvious options (rabbit, headgear, number of !!!, staff weapon) then you'll get enough right answers, or at least be able to rule out the obvious wrong answers.

Also, I've seen people say that if you had the orchestron already that it wouldn't reward you the mats for it again even if you had put it away. Well I had made it years ago and had it stored on porter moogle, and had the option to buy the item in the menu, yet it still gave it to me as a reward for the game (also got the nq mitts again this way, which I had also stored). It wasn't until after I took out my +1 mitts and orchestron off the moogle that it gave me the leaf bench as a reward. Given how annoying this game is, you might want to do that before you play to decrease the risk of getting copies of old rewards before receiving the new item).
