been soloing some t1's, nothing special, but only gotten eschalixirs and +1's as drops, no armor. is this due to lower/no drops when solo with trusts?

If you're not getting a drop, it's because it was Rare/Ex and you had it. Never seen an Escha NM not drop a piece of gear outside of that, both from party and solo kills.
