Having Problems With Abyssea

So I've beaten all the mega bosses and cats. Entered and exited each zone via the maws. The problem is none of the quests are updating and I only have 4 of the zones available to warp from the aby npc. Any idea?

There's a series of quest lines involved. Have you gone back to Joachim?

To get the warps to each zone, I believe you need to have at least 1 Traverse Stone in your inventory to trigger the CS to get the warp. It's been a while, so I may be wrong.

Did you have a traverser stone on you when you clicked on the maw to start the quest for that areas boss? You get a cutscene with amother npc from Abyssea who tells you about the zone boss this then starts you on the small mini quest to slay it.

The traverser stone was my problem! Thanks for the help everyone.

Just add this to the list of odd requirements for missions.

I ended up having an issue with the Sandy mission where I fought Honor and Valor. Did it a year ago, but forgot to click the water again. Was such a pain to get there until recently, so I went back and was stuck. GM had to reset the mission to complete.

Anyone else feel like the mission/quest text was always so cryptic compared to other games (even within the FF universe)?
