~Thanks Get AF1 Body, upgrade it to 119. Nuke with it unless you're under manafont, manawell or like 25 sources of refresh.
Unlock Myrkr WS If you played Geo you should already have a precast set, which will be the same for blm, more or less. For a good nuke set, here's some of your goals : ItemSet 337569 (my current mixed macc/mab set) Helios head (hagondes head is still better for pure damage but lacks accuracy), hands and feet augmented with macc/mab INT and occult accumen. Hagondes pants +1 with mab. Toro cape, friomisi earring / Barkarole earring. Shiva ring+1 X2, Elder's grip +1, Ombre tathlum +1. Eddy Necklace is still good, Yamabuki-no-obi (incursion) or eschan stone (escha ra'un) Get the elemental obi if you can, it's great. A good myrkr set with plenty of MP. Never swap staves. Nuke > get tp > myrkr and repeat. Aspir set, if you don't want a second helios set. ItemSet 337523 Optional but still awesome : Get AF3 feet to 119 (Wicce sabots +1) for Manawall, get 15 job point into wanawall > Be invincible for 5 minutes every 5 minutes ^^. Don't forget, the new staff JSE for BLM from Escha lathi is also a good choice.

With Myrkr it says it recovers 20% for every 1000%, so 20/40/60 and it scales with max MP, so would a Myrkr set basically be just stacking lots of MP+ gear? Yes, if you are very into Escha, i wouldn't bother dumping gil into Helios too much.
Wretched coat is a iffy investment, if your already doing escha then honestly amalric doublet for the most part will see more use across both GEO and BLM. ^^ I still like keraunos when you're not changing staves.
Like having Magic burst bonus or 20% Cure potency on it allows you to reach cure pot cap with full Vanya healing skill path for crazy cure IV and still having lots of Macc mab and INT. But it's down to personal preference But you're right, JSE wins for pure damage. Did some quick testing on SCH. Myrkr TP continues to scale between TP levels.
1031 TP, no Moonshade Earring > 402 MP 1031 TP, with Moonshade Earring > 503 MP 1281 TP, with no Moonshade Earring > 503 MP Confirming that it has always scaled. TP bonus moonshade is a boon for Myrkr sets. Moonshade also makes it so you gain more MP by using Myrkr more often instead of going up to 3000 (2750)

Why would we want to myrkr 3000MP? lol Where do we put it? I mean, soon as we have 3000 and cast a spell, unless your precast set is ALL mp based too, it'll just drop down to your precast amount. In my wimpy Helios based myrkr set I can generally fill up most times without 3000TP. I'm looking at some of your gearset thinking "Oh no, I need more gear!". So what's the deal, why would we want so much unusable MP? Yes I am ignorant. I too quit for a good while and still kind of have a TOAU mentality. Thanks for your time. Seeing some peoples posts I guess it's a better idea to push huge DPS from it. Since we're on the subject lol How is death the most effective? I've tried in all Dark skill gear, all MAB gear. Didn't really do any type of testing DPS wise. Best in a MB? It doesn't seem to MB properly or is it my timing? For example, it's dark based, I have a hard time MB'ing it with Darkness.
