You obviously would rather rely on presumption than examine the problem objectively.
Objectively - one whom pampers with nonstop pitty illegal immigrants regardless of how many have come legally.
Quote:
As pleebo noted, our current diversity is mostly due to previous immigration policies. In the 20's when my great grandparents immigrated here, they simply showed up at Ellis Island and filled out some forms.
Back in the 1920 America was not a diverse nation.
Quote:
Look at the actual statistics and previous immigration policies and when the large migrations were. It would add a lot of perspective to your argument.
I'll hop right on it

Pampering with pity? Three generations of my family and my wife all immigrated here legally, none from any Latin country, either. I have no pity or sympathy for people who enter the us illegally or overstay visas. I'm looking at the problem in a broader context than assumption and ineffectual phallic symbols.

Your "broader context" was brilliant. I heard it. America's Immigration policies have forced ppl into being illegal immigrants. This is all obviously America's fault. We need to fix it.

I didn't say anything of that sort. What I said was that a wall will not stem the flow on its own. In fact, plenty of countries have essentially no physical borders and don't have the trouble we do. This isn't dynastic China.

Immigration laws used to be much more relaxed. You can't attribute our high diversity to current laws.
Dont explain your point. Just ignore everything I said and continue to blame the USA.
Perhaps read the *** post?

It used to be that if you could work, you could get in. Many people's families got here at a point in history where the biggest obstacle to citizenship was simply getting here. We're all familiar with how black people got here. Why ignore history especially considering our unofficial position as a nation of immigrants?

You ignored everything else I said so perhaps reading doesnt apply to you. None of what you say makes the US immigration laws impossible to become a US citizen. Im not living in the year 1920 are you?

Ya dont say... that changes everything but what in the world does that have to do with Illegal Immigration or anything else for the matter. Other than throwing something everybody is aware of out there for no reason as if it some how has some sort of impact on the subject.
What DO we attribute America's diversity to then if not US immigration law? We're diverse due to illegals? Maybe by mistake? Or possibly the diversity came from forging documents? If we aint a diverse nation due to our own laws of immigration then you aint making any sense whatsoever cuz we sure as hell are not a diverse nation due to slavery.

I was only addressing your one argument of how current ("atm") policy somehow explains our current diversity. It doesn't. I said nothing about current laws making it impossible. I said nothing about diversity being attributed to illegal immigration. I have no *** clue what you're going on about and probably neither do you.

I guess your blaming illegals themselves then and not US laws? Great now I can move on. Thank you.

Yeah maybe the wall does nothing. Which is kind of why I posted that Warning:Sign threatening Arrest & Prosecution.
Personally Idgaf about illegals that much to watch Mexico's cartels spill over (if they havent alrdy...) into the US. Id rather not see this country turned into a homeless shelter for illegal immigrants nor looking like a 3rd world country. That *** everyone American over, whites-blacks-latinos and everyone else included living here

Jesus H Christ on a stick!

1. Curiel is not a member of La Raza. He's a member of La Raza Lawyers of San Diego which has nothing to do with La Raza other than containing the name.

2. Immigration laws fluctuated in terms of being strict v relaxed. Example Chinese Exclusionary Act (strict) and open door policy to Koreans post Korean War (relaxed). It's all based on agendas of the era.

If we wanted to fix illegal immigration as an issue we need to fix our foreign policies in respect to how we create instability in regions forcing people to flee to stable nations that aren't in chaos.

Jesus was on two sticks.

Much like the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the National Socialist German Workers' Party, if the groups share even one word they are all exactly the same.

Fix illegal immigration? Why would you take away a perfectly good wedge issue?

Pointing out a critical flaw in Trump's proposed fix for illegal immigration isn't even close to saying we're forcing them to come illegally. Putting up signs in a language they don't speak won't do ***either. There is no way this is that hard to understand.

If it's anything like my area, you have to order in English at the Taco Bell. If you want to order something in Spanish, go to the Panda Express.

Then why waste money on signs? It's already illegal to enter the US without permission.

It helps to find an accurate portrayal of one so that you know what to look for. You know, something like this:
