I'm not seeing definitive information on how the Storm II spells differ from the regular versions. Do they simply boost the potency and attributes even more?

Storm II Spells
Do what exactly?
I'm not seeing definitive information on how the Storm II spells differ from the regular versions. Do they simply boost the potency and attributes even more? Thanks. They don't do more, as far as Stormsurge is concerned.
The world however knows about "single weather" and "double weather". Storm II spells give the "double weather" effect for a larger weather bonus, if (or when, using the right elemental obi or Hachirin-no-Obi) it procs. They give Double Weather bonus, which gives a 25% boost to nukes that match the weather when it procs, or 100% of the time when you are wearing the coresponding Sea Obi. Single weather gives a 10% boost.
Great thanks.
Are the individual Sea Obi's still needed or does Hachirin-no-obi cover all elements now? Cerberus.Avalon said: » Are the individual Sea Obi's still needed or does Hachirin-no-obi cover all elements now? It covers all elements, but not necessarily favorably. It forces both positive and negative penalties, and when there is deviation between day and weather, things are not so optimal. I would suggest keeping light obi at the least, I've kept a few of them due to that reason.

So for example, if you're nuking with wind with double wind but it's iceday, would the negative effect of ice overwrite the positive buff to wind or would they cancel eachother out? It's like this:
* You start out with a day/weather multiplier of 1.0. * Single weather adds/removes 0.1. * Double weather adds/removes 0.25. * Day adds/removes 0.1. Gear modifying that multiplier cannot break the upper cap of 1.4 (equivalent to +40%). So if you cast a fire spell with Firestorm I on Watersday using Hachirin-no-Obi, your Obi does... little. It prevents the -10% case for when day procs but weather does not, but it also prevents the +10% case where weather procs but day does not.

How does "natural" weather interact with the -storm spells? If the area has double ice weather and you cast Windstorm on yourself, which takes precedence? Do they all factor in, meaning you have double ice and single wind weather combined (thus -15% on wind nukes if using Hachirin)? Or does the Windstorm spell take precedence and the "natural" weather get ignored?
