This may be redundant, but I didn't see it anywhere. The breath the wyvern chooses to use after WS is sometimes so dumb, and, if left alone, will rarely MB a T1 SC. I would like to use the AF helm after a WS but before the wyvern decides which breath to use, then to swap into Relic for enhanced potency. I use Mote's includes, so my GearSwap is based off that. The idea I had was something like this:

Precast WS -> AF Helm -> Relic Helm -> Engaged set

The problem is, his includes appear to lock out midcast commands on WS, otherwise a post_midcast should cover it. Any thoughts?

I have some doubts about if midcasting that would work. I feel like there's a reason for not trying to swap midcast on WS. But that feeling is based on my gut and some half remembered posts early in gearswap development. So I'll leave it at doubts, unless I decide to go test.

But honestly, why do you even want it to MB? Wyverns choose their breath elements based on the monsters weakness with a high rate of accuracy. The only thing magic busting a breath does is add magic acc. Making them change their breath from the mob's least resistant element so they can gain an unspecified amount of MACC seems kinda redundant.

In any case, with a good breath set(~+25 pet:MACC per piece, x4) and the strafe adjustments SE made awhile back, I'm not seeing many resists anyway. Though I'll admit, I haven't done anything really high level on DRG lately. Been living on PLD when I'm playing at all.

Took a break since Vagary came out but with ~100 m.acc in midcast set, i never saw resists, though it rarely did full damage due to constant AoE as usual. If only it was based off Max HP, it would actually be a solid dps boost.

MB was just another aspect of it. I know if you WS in the AF and close an SC, it will always use the elemental breath to match the SC, or in the case of T2/3, whichever the mob is least resistant to. The bigger issue, however, is when it uses, say, Sand Breath against a bird, or Lightning Breath against a worm, just on a normal WS.

That's not something that happens often. For example, I have a pair of parses of furious arundmite. No particular reason for that mob, just the first decently long parse I opened while looking through my parse library.
Code
2014-11-23_Furious Arundmite
Player Abil. Dmg Abs'd.Dmg Net Dmg Abil. % Hit/Miss A.Acc % A.Low/Hi A.Avg
Lumiere 107880 0 107880 70.46 % 296/0 100.00 % 48/493 364.46
 - Hydro Breath 107880 0 107880 100.00 % 296/0 100.00 % 48/493 364.46
Ringo 7437 0 7437 80.84 % 20/0 100.00 % 195/396 371.85
 - Hydro Breath 7437 0 7437 100.00 % 20/0 100.00 % 195/396 371.85

And round #2. I could have combined the parses, but, eh.
Ability Damage
Player Abil. Dmg Abs'd.Dmg Net Dmg Abil. % Hit/Miss A.Acc % A.Low/Hi A.Avg
Lumiere 30196 0 30196 57.98 % 82/0 100.00 % 57/521 368.24
 - Hydro Breath 30196 0 30196 100.00 % 82/0 100.00 % 57/521 368.24
398+ breaths, and nothing but Hydro breath. Seems pretty steady. And I'm not using Vishap or anything.

While I'm all for min maxing,I don't think this is worth the testing to figure out if midcasting the armet would even work. It'd be a nightmare...

And it's certainly not worth actually WS'ing in vishap.
