I think re-raise would become a little weird because you'd have to like, be there to see yourself die and still manage to motion "Yes I want to be revived." I'm thinking Plasma Charge/Shock Spikes or Cocoon for when random dogs try to eat me while exercising. lol

Really tough to say. All the defensive type spells seem really appealing at first, then I realize I don't find myself in mortal danger very often, and fancy damage mitigation would go to waste.
Which leaves me with Invisible and Cure. Think of all the adult situations you could find yourself in with Invis.
And you could theoretically fend off death indefinitely with a handy Cure IV every now and then.

That's fine, I don't want to live forever anyway. Also, in my scenario it was only me that got to pick something, so there will be no black magic. Although, if someone was to set fire to me, I would die. :(
