I mean, yeah with RS he's viable. But whatever you're having him do with that gear? There are numerous characters who can do exactly. Except they're objectively better at it.

I decided to go try out some damage on Steam Cleaner (not really any good targets to do it on right now) using Lightning vs Tyro. Both have SSB, Lightning obviously has RS but is actually using weaker gear.

Tyro: 382 Attack. Steal Power.
Lightning: 433 Attack, 30% Attack Buff off Flames of War.
Both: Armor Breakdown/Full Break.

Tyro had way better gear.

Both could not hit the damage cap before both Full and Armor breakdown were applied using Lifesiphon. In real fights (ultimates) you likely will not be carrying Armor Breakdown and the mobs will have more defense. If I had used the same gear on Lightning I would have hit the damage cap relatively easily, and been completely unable to on Tyro.

I mean I'm not saying you aren't able to do that. If you have perfect RS gear, a 50% attack buff, and overgear the fight so heavily you can afford to drop defensive abilities for offensive it's entirely possible. For a normal player however, hitting for 9999 on Ultimates with Lifesiphon and Tyro is not very likely.

Neat. Japan gets 3 free daily draws. They also publish draw rates on the various tiers.
Those only apply to daily draws though.

There's currently a BSSB event going on going on with a 13/25/62 ratio. Dr. Mogs Newbie draw is 12/25/63.

Shame we don't have a concrete idea as to what Global rates are.

I was excited yesterday. I got the best daily draw I've ever got, a 3*! I didn't even think anything above a 2* existed from those!

While the RNGed are server side, for some reason the global server has stored numbers for pulls (one theory is that those numbers comes from japanese version and DeNa wont mess with a code that possibly can result in a bug).

So, those numbers are periodically datamined. Fact is, while global dont have 3 chances to do a daily relic draw, our drop rate is better. I wont be able to look the post on reddit that show those number but I think that on average you should be pulling a 5* every year (personally I already got mine).

For banners, the odds are the same as the japanese client. For SSSB fest, I managed to find the actual drop rate:



Again, the RNG comes from server side. The client just happens to have some rates hidden inside the code, that could be datamined though none can confirm those numbers are actually real. But there is no reason to not to believe them, also. They are around the same as the countless statistic threads done in reddit every banner.

I have pulled 3x 5* from free draws so far (excluding Danjuro from tutorial pull iirc); Genji Armor, Genji Shield, All-rounder (Wakka unique), and been playing for like 10 months. Assuming I pulled everyday; it has been around 1% chance to pull a 5* for me.

In the end, i decided to buy the MC2 for Bartz (got his excalibur), Aeris (because i have her relics), Lulu (to help with Nightmare) and Locke (hoping i can get his knife but his rm can be interesting once shout caps everyone attack).

The mc2 lode given in current event will be used for Auron, though i dont know when his mc2 will be available. I hope its right after the EX battle are released.

On one hand I am very jelly that you got 3x 5*s from your daily pull and I've only seen 1x 3* total. On the other hand you pulled Genji Armor and Genji Shield so I don't feel that bad.

If I pull Aurons SSB with a 100 gem or 15 mythril on banner 2, I'll use a MCII Lode on him, otherwise I'll probably use it on D.Cecil for his sword damage RM.

I did:

Bartz - Basically one of if not the best physical DPS.

Locke - Thiefs Raid plus amazing Thief.

Tifa - Personal pick because I have her Platinum Fist and do use her in VII realms.

Vanille - Personal pick because I have both of her SBs.

Vanille - RM2, only medica I posses, and some personal character preference

Tidus - RM3

Tyro - RM3

Sephiroth - RM2 and I have his SB Armor

Yup, both lucky and unlucky at the same time until All-rounder (which isn't very useful but still a relic).

I spent my MCIIs on Cloud / Tyro / Tidus just for all the RMs (though I'm a fair fan of Tyro as a relatively new player, that versatility is good).

I dunno if I have the means to beat Dreadnaught yet, I could only kill 1.5 Gigas' on FFII Ult before I ran outta steam, lol.

Though funny enough I think I can kill Living Liquid since my FFV synergy is pretty insane >>; I'll find out in a few days.

I'm currently sitting on 285 Mythril and I think I'm gonna make two pulls on Banner 5 and burn the rest on FFT when it pops since if it's as meta defining as everyone talks about, I think I need that boost just to catch up to all the veterans.

Oh yeah if you don't have any MC2s you absolutely should get Tyro/Cloud/Tidus. Having good characters at level 80 is important, but those RMs are really just too broken. I don't even use Tyro/Tidus and would take them without a second thought.

Do they announce when the 2nd round of battles for an event are supposed to come out? Can't find it anywhere. Would Yunas have come out already today if it was going to? I know it used to be an hour from now but if I remember right the time change made it now?

Dont forget also the Steiner RM3, thats a weaker version of Ace Striker (+25% vs +50%).

And be prepared to Ramza RM3 thats the same of Tidus. Ramzas MC2 is a reward prize for the +++ battle so make sure your party is up to date.

There are actually 5 MC lode 2: Aside the 3 given in Login rewards, one from Dreadnought and one from bonus battle in Yuna event.

Will there also be there also be an MC2 in there for a FFX character? I'm at a point where I can halfass my way through a lot of the higher tier fights with some RNG manipulating resets >>; lol

I will admit Grand Cross ExDeath versus 120 Emperor was funny as heck since I gave ExDeath Dr. Mogs + Dispel + Haste and basically turned all of Emperor's slow-gas into an ability battery and abused it to keep his buffs / debuffs from getting outta control.

Oh I know there are 5, I chose my 5 already. He just said that he didn't know if he could do Dreadnought though so I assumed 3 only.

This FFX event will get the Jecht MC2 apparently on April 1st. Someone that plays JP or feels like looking it up can tell me what his RM3 is. As an actual character though, never been a big Jecht fan.

Dunno if I'd choose Steiner though for his RM3 specifically. I almost never use it.

Jecht MC2 will come with Braska event, thats several months ahead.

This current event, its just a MC Lode 2, and suposelly Auron MC2 coming to Hall of Rites (as Auron MC2 isnt on reward list but its supose to come with Eternal Calm event acording to spreadsheet).

No one seems to know what Jechts RM2 does.Attack: 14% to Explosive Fist.

And it doesn't look like his MC2 is available until the Braska event.

I like it if I need Draw Fire. Since I tend to use Ace Striker for a DD like Cloud or Vaan.

Usually I just opt for Dragoons Determination before Steiners. Maybe if I'm using 3 Lifesiphoners but that's not too common. I don't even have 3 copies of Lifesiphon to be honest.

I guess it helps that my big SBs are Lightning, Cloud, and Squall. Ace Striker works well on Squall since his SSB is a huge multiplier, but Cloud BSSB and Lightning SSB are just a ton of little hits.

Isn't Bartz w/ BSSB technically outperformed by Shadow w/ SSB and Vaan w/ BSSB?

Looking at BSSBs, Squall and Fang seems to synergize really well, assuming Imperil effects work like one would assume they do.
