A bit OT but anybody having issues with the new Lockstyle?
The old one, while inferior, wasn't making my character blink while swapping Ammo (say... a Ginsen to a Potestas Bomblet during WS etc).
The new one instead does make my charater blink, which kinda defeats one of the main purposes of Lockstyle, which was to allow other people who don't use windower to target/heal me during events like WKR etc.
It's not a problem specifically for me and even if it were I could just use BMN or DressUp, but for these situations it's a big issue.
Anybody experiencing the same? (I mean I know other people do, looking for more and to see if there are solutions)

Sechs, I'm pretty sure that's been reported and confirmed as a bug on the OF.

That's pretty good news if it's true, because it means they're gonna fix it sooner or later :D

Pretty satisfied with this look, and glad I had just gotten a machismo for my mannequin. Now I'm on the hunt for more daggers!

sentinel shield might take you less, provided you are willing to spend 8,000 ISP ;P

The Sallet returns in all its glory!
I'd be more comfortable lockstyling this particular combo fulltime if I didn't feel guilty for looking like I'm TP'ing in Heca.

Only thing you can do for now is accept it, or only use certain ammos.
But the point is that it wasn't like this on the old Lockstyle.
I think the blink was only happening, with the old one, if you were swapping an ammo for a really-throwable weapon (like a Boomerang), and it made sense that way.
Really hope they're gonna fix it, or at least make a post about it.

They didn't fix the stats on that staff though (on the eng version they display the same stats as the new Ebow).
Pretty likely that's a description mistake as well like the one that was present on Karagoz Body 109

I went through the new gear and updated bgwiki ability pages/timers yesterday, and there are really a lot of spelling errors on them. It feels like they weren't proofread.

Didnt actually read anything on lockstyle so i didnt know it was permanent now, this sounds exciting !
Did anyone say Sallet ¿? I must say i do look pretty handsome with my hair freely flowing in the wind though ...
I heard the ilvl version of voyager sallet is going to be ilvl130 and defeat every other helmet in the game for every job in every situation, i wonder if there's any truth to that rumor...

Yeah the Comebacktophoenix shield works pretty well with that set.

there's the event shields like the Meebles Shield or the Chocobo Shields, etc. my /lockstyle has the Metal Slime Shield in place of my Genbu's.

This thread needs more screenshots. What was that armor set that came out x years ago when Synergy became a thing? It was red and black and spiky and very intimidating/sexy.
