Oh well indeed. Back to arguing. When's sheriff Joe heading out on a "fact checking" mission about Ted Cruz's true birth certificate?

Being that Cruz's wife is a manager at Goldman Sachs in Houston; not anytime soon, Arpaio likes $.

Thing about Cruz I don't get:
Said he wants to abolish the IRS and establish a flat tax, but makes no mention of what would be established to collect.

Give it time?

He wants to repeal Obamacare and as far as I can tell he is the first Republican to say what he would replace it with. Is that not a start?

Well, he could abolish the IRS then start the "ERS", which works exactly like the IRS but it's not named IRS. Cruz gets to show he follows through on promises, and taxes are still collected.

The question is how were Taxes Collected before 1913?

In their defense Pleebo, they haven't actually expressed the pro-life argument.

If I read them correctly they did say it should be available but feels that a person shouldn't be getting them on a regular basis. More than likely wouldn't utilize the service themselves.

Which really is far more sensible than "pro-life"
Hmm, true.

Quote:
Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. A new profile of Ben Carson in GQ magazine quotes the presidential hopeful making some more controversial claims.

The lengthy piece begins with Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and conservative favorite, reacting to President Barack Obama's State of the Union speech. One of Carson's advisers said Obama looked good and Carson responded by calling the president a "psychopath."

"Like most psychopaths," Carson said. "That's why they're successful. That's the way they look. They all look great."

Carson is no stranger to controversial statements. Earlier his month, the bestselling book author drew national headlines after he said men who come out as gay in prison prove homosexuality is a choice. And last year, Carson repeatedly compared the US to Nazi Germany.

"I mean, [our society is] very much like Nazi Germany," he said in one interview, according to Talking Points Memo. "And I know you're not supposed to say 'Nazi Germany,' but I don't care about political correctness. You know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate the population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe."

He repeated this position in the GQ profile — even while visiting Israel's Holocaust museum.

"On several occasions, I tried to get Carson to concede that his analogy likening the U.S. to Nazi Germany was out of line," GQ's Jason Zengerle wrote. "Our longest discussion about the matter came in Jerusalem, in the cafeteria of the Holocaust museum at Yad Vashem. We'd spent the previous ninety minutes touring the museum, followed by Carson entering Yad Vashem's Hall of Remembrance and, black kippah atop his head, laying a wreath. ... Given all this, I asked Carson, did it make him reconsider his analogy?"

Carson again didn't budge.

"Not at all," he said. "It makes [the Nazi comparison] even stronger."

Also during his trip to Israel, Carson reportedly compared Syrian civil war to the racially charged riots in Ferguson, Missouri, that erupted last year. Carson visited the Golan Heights, disputed territory under Israeli control, and an Israeli soldier told him the Islamist fighters are from Morocco and Europe instead of Syria. Carson said the US had the same problem of outside "troublemakers" stirring up violence.

"It's just like the troublemakers in Ferguson," Carson replied.
Presidential hopeful Ben Carson thinks Obama is a 'psychopath' and America is like Nazi Germany

Is the baby Hitler? If so, there's an episode of The Twilight Zone that almost fits this perfectly.

It comes from being pro life but tossing in a touch of common sense.

3rd term abortions should ONLY happen if there is Clear Danger to the Mother(And if C Section is ruled out)

2nd Term Abortioins are debateable, I personally lean towards NO.

1st Term I would maybe be very willing to give ground on, but I would still be wary.

* evil glare.....

I said meeting in the middle somewhat is common sense^^

And nothing about what I believe with abortion is pro 'choice'

I don't consider being more or less FORCED to abort due to incest(/rape?) or more likely because if you do not abort you will die to be a 'choice'

We could go super strict and completely take out the incest/rape option cuz that could be considered 'choice'

But danger to mothers life is not a choice^^

Sometimes I think conservatives think liberals have cooties. Even when we're speaking the same language and agree, conservatives still need to find a way to disagree no matter what.

Like it or not, you do agree and have the same stance as most democrats and most liberals in regards to abortion. Yes, even Obama.

Hmm, maybe thats why I typically don't care about a candidates platform when it comes to stuff like Gay Marriage and Abortion.

On those I generally believe the 'gray area' of those topics(disagreeing with both the extreme black and white versions)

The original assertion is that all fetuses/unborn are innocent and presumably deserving of life, yet we also submit that exceptions can be made for rape/incest. Those stance forces the conclusion that even though some fetuses/unborn are innocent, they should be 'killed' anyways because they are unwanted. That also forces the conclusion that we all agree not all fetuses/unborn deserve a chance at life.

Once we get to this point, it completely contradicts the pro-life argument because not even pro-lifers believe in their own stance.

I believe Pleebo is asking for an explanation to this hypocrisy.

He's all about Reaganomics, which has his state in default...
Oh really now?

I'm sure you are going to post a biased source that would say that they are, but the CAFR says otherwise. Especially in a state that holds $1.5 billion in cash on hand with less than a billion in total liabilities.

But I guess to you, that's defaulting....

If you have taken even 1 business course in your entire life, you would know what you just said is ***.

Right, he avoided a default by slashing education and borrowing from the road fund to offset the 3 billion dollar deficit in 2010, and they're in the same boat again this year, with another 2 billion dollar deficit...

Revenues were up in the short-term, then fell below projections for the following 3 years, and they're still pushing their shortfalls into the future: Reaganomics.
Again, you are talking out of your ***.

How can they have a deficit when their Excess of Revenues Over/(Under) Expenditures (see page 21 of the link I provided) is over $10 million? You know what that's called? A surplus.

And guess what. That report is reporting all revenue and expenses. Not specific ones, not just the income/expenses towards the General Fund, but all of them.

Keep talking out of your ***. You have no clue about business, because any businessman would know that more profits over expenses equals a surplus of money.

Not yet. Flower-head's title is ingrained, it will take a lot of pressure to pull it away from him.

Yeah, pressure is being applied, but the degree of stupidity hasn't been reached yet.

How do others perceive the Tea Party? don't hold back
I told you how I, and some of my conservative friends view the tea party.

I will reiterate:

Quote:
There is nothing conservative about the tea party. You are a bunch of burn it down, temper tantrum throwing radicals.

To misquote Bender, libertarians my shiny metal ***. Yeah, you want the government out of the corporations and back in our bedrooms where it belongs.

Also all of your politicians are wholly owned subsidiaries of Koch Enterprises and most of your "grass roots" organizations pure astroturf.
But I don't hate. I feel that most of their followers have been deluded. I feel sorry for such as you.

Don't kid yourself, extreme liberals feel the same way and do the same things when they happen to agree with a conservative viewpoint. It's a biproduct of our extremely-divided bipartisanship these days. Being identified as agree with the other side is the highest level of insult; it's like the Cold War/Red Scare all over again, only playing out over party lines within our own country.

Perhaps only grandma chanti and I are old enough to remember the "reform party" movement....with citizen ross perot. Which was basically the same group of whack jobs in different shaped tin foil hats.

And it goes back all the way to the formation of the republican party which was a third party itself.

Only the democrats have been here the whole time and fortunately for them, there has always been some loon in a tricorn hat screaming gibberish they can point the finger at to blame everything on.
