Sure they will. This whole email-gate is a big stumbling block for her. But, being a Clinton, she feels she is above it all, and will run anyway. And other Democrats will use it as ammo against her.

No one is nastier in a campaign than your political party.

That's why I think all of the Obama birthers are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. If there was the slightest bit of possible truth to Obama not being eligible to be president, Hilary would have used it in 2008.

He wants to put marriage definitions in the hands of churches, since there's no legal basis for denying same-sex marriage, no idea how that sits with LGBT.
I don't feel like searching for a better citation, so I'll just take this at face value and say: Why should we have a problem? Only people who enjoy self-hatred attend a house of religion where they're unwelcome.

The marriage debate is about the host of very dubious legal rights attached to the institution, not the ceremony which may or may not be religious in nature.

From PBS.

Quote:
Social Issues: States should be allowed to define “marriage” and set strict abortion limits.

Cruz has said that he personal believes marriage is between a man and a woman and that states should define the term “marriage” for themselves. As co-sponsor of the State Marriage Defense Act, Cruz would allow states that oppose gay marriage to not recognize gay couples who were married in other states.

On abortion, the Republican lawmaker has called the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing the procedure a “dark anniversary”, but has not said whether he would specifically work to overturn it. Cruz has staunchly supported bans on any taxpayer funding of abortion and bans of so-called partial birth abortion. He has fervently supported a Texas law that would require doctors at abortion clinics to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, a requirement that could limit staffing at abortion facilities. That Texas law was ruled unconstitutional by a lower court and is now before the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Best headline yet!

No, Ted Cruz Is Not a Nigerian Prince Scammer
The Blaze

Quote:
As Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) launched his presidential campaign Monday, people online quickly discovered something odd: Cruz’s website, tedcruz.org, shared a security certificate with “nigerian-prince.com.”

Cannot make it up: @tedcruz' website *does* support SSL (just not default), – cert is also for nigerian-prince,com pic.twitter.com/bNk61WhnS1

— Pwn All The Things (@pwnallthethings) March 23, 2015

The discovery prompted jokes that Cruz’s appeal for donations was akin to the proverbial email scams in which a “Nigerian prince” promises a gullible victim riches — if the victim wires money to the “prince” first.

— Sean Jordan (@sj2go) March 24, 2015

The discovery also prompted serious speculation about Cruz’s technical know-how, with Techdirt’s Mike Masnick saying the shared certificate “raises some questions about just who [Cruz] has hired to build his websites.”

So who did Cruz hire?

CloudFlare — incidentally, the same company that hosts Techdirt’s security certificate.

As it turns out, the fact that tedcruz.org and nigerian-prince.com share a certificate isn’t a cause for alarm at all.

“The Cruz campaign didn’t do anything wrong,” CloudFlare CEO Matthew Prince told Ars Technica. “It was an automated process on CloudFlare’s part.”

Prince explained that CloudFlare assigns multiple websites to each of its SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates “to limit consumption of IP addresses.”

The fact that tedcruz.org shared a certificate with nigerian-prince.com — which is a joke website, not a serious scammers’ haven — was a fluke, and the latter URL has since been removed from tedcruz.org’s certificate.

“Bottom line: All donations are and have always been secure,” Cruz spokesman Brian Phillips told TheBlaze. He also sent a link to SSL Labs security rankings, which give donate.tedcruz.org an “A” grade for security.

Yes. Obama is a democratic centrist and believes in negotiating. Hilary is to Obama's right and has far more ties to the real halls of power than Obama ever developed.

Haters will hate.

---
On a different note...I am so tired of all this venom...

How about we let the people decide? I don't know about this 'winnability' but what I have to say about it is that the Democrats and the Republicans both hate Ted Cruz, this is true. For this you guys think he will not get the nomination. But if Ted Cruz whens more votes(who cares about the elite of the party itself) Cruz can still get it.

Love him or hate him but Cruz keeps his promises.

the only competition is Jeb Bush, and that is because Jeb Bush is Mr. Moneybags.

From your point of view he would look liberal, but he isn't.

About the negotiating part, that's how the GOP was so able to roll him in his first two years when he had solid majorities in both houses.

Also can we stop with a lie that has been perpetrated over the pages?

1: Ted Cruz himself never mentioned anything about Obama's Birther issues(post me a link proving me wrong and I will retract)

Now this is not to say certain members of the Tea Part didn't take part in this, or the republicans. But the attack actually STARTED with Hilary Clinton's campaign administration during the primaries when she was running against him.

2: The whole 'he lead the charge in shutting down the government'
by way of his 'filibuster'

He never filibustered... He did a 21 hour protest speech.

The Shutdown was caused by a dispute between John Boehner and the Democratic Majority in the Senate... end of story.

Do you?

“This is not a filibuster. This is an agreement that he and I made that he could talk,” Reid said Wednesday.

Filibuster:

Quote:
A filibuster is a parliamentary procedure where debate is extended, allowing one or more members to delay or entirely prevent a vote on a given proposal. It is sometimes referred to as talking out a bill or talking a bill to death and characterized as a form of obstruction in a legislature or other decision-making body. The English term "filibuster" is derived from the Spanish filibustero, itself deriving originally from the Dutch vrijbuiter, "privateer, pirate, robber" (also the root of English "freebooter").

So regardless of what Reid says it is, it still fits in the definition of a filibuster.

Despite his Ironman stand on the floor of the upper chamber, Cruz could not stop a Senate already in motion from eventually returning a clean continuing resolution to the House scant days before a government shutdown is scheduled to take effect on Oct. 1. Under Senate rules, the latest the upper chamber could take the first procedural vote on a House spending bill that defunds Obamacare is 1 p.m. on Wednesday — a reality Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) broadcast to the world Tuesday morning when he opened the Senate and again on Wednesday.

It's hard. I'm a republican since forever but I cannot get behind these tea party people. They always struck me as racist fearmongers. I guess we will have to see who else joins the race. I do not like ultra-conservative candidates.

Apparently, you are unable to read.

You need not be able to prevent or kill a bill to filibuster, because you can simply delay it, until 3/5ths of the senate decides to move on to the next subject.

So yes, he did manage a Filibuster by delaying the decision.
