Logging off in Dynamis wouldn't be completely inappropriate for me.
Dynamis was always one of my favorite events, especially back when it was a 40+ member, multiple-alliance, 3.5 hour deathfest.

Let's be honest though. For many of us, we started playing in high school or college and are now thoroughly into adulthood. Playtime has already wizened and the chance of forging new friendships is slim compared to those who have already left.
It's going to be a very contemplative time for me and probably a majority of others and these are things that -- silly though as they may be in the context of life -- are meaningful decisions we need to consider.

This isn't the first time a thread with this topic has popped up, though. I expect to see half a dozen more before the actual end, but it's interesting to think about.

I understand that, as I've played on and off since NA release all those years ago. I know how much of an emotional investment comes with this game. I just think it's more harmful than helpful to focus on the end rather than enjoy what time we do have left. That's just how I see it, but I know everyone has their own outlook.
with My main i will log off in full BLU Af in Ronfaure near the pond putting the music as high as i can... I've played final fantasy 11 just because by chance i've listened to ronfaure music. That's the reason why i'm from sandy and why i'm elvaan.

True story. From a logical standpoint, it seems rather odd to be thinking about a game in such a manner, but finding the proper means to obtain some form of closure for something that's been part of my life for over a decade is going to take some thought.

I kind of want to make that painful trip in... Arrapago Reef I think? Where I first was guided by a 75 RDM veteran so that I could unlock PUP. A pain to unlock the job, and a pain to lock the job up forever in that place filled with the rest of the dead.

Here's the thing about XI: it wasn't the first fantasy world my wife and I have existed in under these identities, nor will it be the last. Rammie and Mirny have existed since 1997 and will continue to do so for a long, long, very long time.
This decision is as much one on how to springboard them into other places as much as anything, because tying these things together is important.

I think I will find a nice tree in the Sanctuary of Zi'tah to rest my weary pixels. the music there has been one of my favorites in the game and was always so relaxing.

nowhere does it state PS4 is getting an expansion. the expanded content through this November will be on all platforms, and SE has said that after March they will only support the PC with balance and bug fixes. there is also no mention of upgrading the graphics or UI since those are outside the realm of said balance and bug fixes. did you not read the translation SE put out, or what?
