Dr Phil taught me that. The answer to all of life's questions is how does that make you feel ?

Anyone see the netflix exclusive standup by Chelsea Handler? That was SO funny to me. I haven't laughed that much at a standup in years. way over the line sometimes but I just... the good parts so good.

No women can't be comics. Feminists but not comics.

You know what the problem is...they are women.

Women don't need to be funny. Men could care less if women are funny.

ok with the exception of maybe Jim Gaffigan

Gaffigan is tolerable for only so long. His jokes fall apart if you think about them even a little bit. That's true of many comics, but his are dangerously close to falling apart upon immediately leaving his mouth.

Sarah Silverman is also very funny that comes to mind.

Not that great, imo.

Madigan and Schumer are pretty good.

I think that, proportionally, that the ratio of good:bad in women standups is the same as men, but there are just more male stand-up comedians.

On the subject of women I can never tell when you're joking and when you're being bitter and rejected.

Edit: I say this because you're absolutely wrong and frankly it doesn't even really work as a joke. :p

Bad comics are bad comics, gender need not apply. Naturally, some women will focus on womens issues, OH MY GOD SURPRISED.

Having been to enough live shows, you know a bad comic when the delivery is ***, nervous laughter erupts after a joke or the set turns into picking on members of the crowd for material.

Aw, he's one of my absolute favorites.

My wife and I both like stand-up alot. She likes him more than I do. I hear him way too much because he comes up on her comedy station we listen to on the way home from work quite a bit.

Unless it's Bill Burr tearing apart a *** awful audience in Philadelphia. That ***is *** brutally amazing. YouTube it if you've not seen it.

Patton Oswalt can do a pretty good heckler roast too.

I admire anyone that can make me laugh so hard and long, and to do it without putting anyone with the exception of themselves down? Pure bliss imho. Jim Gaffigan shines there.

I also love Fluffy/Gabriel Iglesias. Come to think of it, they both joke about food alot. Maybe that's my gotcha. I don't really like food most the time it's a pain in the *** to prepare or even eat it, but it's sure funny.

I like Iglesias. Gaffigan...eh. I feel like Gaffigan says stupid ***and then puts himself down to 'make it okay'. It almost feels like a cop out.
