Everytime i try to start up FFxi/POL I get a prompt that says do you want to allow POL to make changes to your PC when i hit accept a Boxs pops up with a red circle with a X in the middle nothing else anyone know whats going on?

This is not the exact window but it looks like this I cant seem to figure out how to post pics from my PC on here Im pretty PC HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE

run as admin, if that doesnt work, maybe uninstalling and hen re-installing?

I'm going to assume it's a new install, and from that is it from the original discs?

or just search for "uac" in the start button and it will bring up the appropriate menu, much faster.

This combined with it's not a fresh install sounds to me like something is corrupted either with the game, your windows install and or both.
