Wierd Content-ID Glitch Or Am I Hacked?

Hi everyone,

Yesterday after the Update hit, before the game booted up i got a short "checking Content-ID" and then the game booted up.
Now i can login with various older character that are not Activated, since i only have 2 Content-ID's running instead of 6.

So my question is: is that a bug in the system or has my account been compromised that someone would activate my old characters.

When i login to my SE-account there are 2 characters activated standing on "continuisly" and the older ones on "cancelled" and i certainly did not buy more content-Id's

Has anyone here experienced this before?

well that explains it. I did not properly read the info's on the Login-Campaign.

Check your method of payment. This sometimes happens when you have multiple accounts paid on the same card.

Let me add that if you have more than 8 content IDs including cancelled ones, that are all tied to the same handle, you will get the following message when trying to log in: "The handle "<handle name>" is already linked to 8 content IDs. Display Handle List? Y/N"

This is because your cancelled content IDs are now active and available to play due to the free login campaign. One handle can only have a total of 8 content IDs linked to it, so you will need to create a new handle and link the surplus to the new one.

This happened to me trying to log in this morning, and it completely baffled me. I have never had more than 8 content IDs until very recently when I changed server and made an additional mule on Asura. Funny thing was, SE's customer support agent couldn't explain why it happened either:

I bet nobody at the "overseas" branches of SE are actually aware of what the "head" of the company is up to. That's how things like that happen. and really ... good lol material.

Didn't help that it says the following about the free login campaign on their official web site:

"Thursday, 11 September 2014 at 3:00 a.m. (GMT) to Wednesday, 17 September at 2:59 p.m."

It's the 10th today. SE being more confused with dates and timezones than I am!

3am gmt is 11pm edt, or 8pm pdt, but like I told somebody else: I doubt they have an easy mechanism to flag the qualifying accounts and are probably doing groups at a time in preparation. But I could be wrong and they just started 12 hours early for no good reason.
