Leviathan.Katriina said: » Using Perfect TP for Trish and my TP for Rhon. what about your drg_gear.txt file, since that's the only way to add QA on valorous.
Yes I modified it as you mentioned before.
in any case Sim doesn't run without the drg_gear.txt with it in the same folder. -------------------------------------------- def example_body(job): job.str += 29 job.dex += 25 job.vit += 29 job.acc += 20 job.eq_haste += 30 job.stp += 3 job.da += 2 #augments job.acc += 9 job.atk += 9 job.qa += 3 gearname['body'].append('example_body') def example_legs(job): job.str += 39 job.dex += 26 job.vit += 15 job.atk += 25 job.eq_haste += 51 job.stp += 3 job.da += 2 #augments job.acc += 31 job.atk += 24 job.da += 5 gearname['legs'].append('example_legs') def example_waist(job): job.acc += 2 job.qa += 2 job.ta += 2 gearname['waist'].append('example_waist') The moment I got QA3 I tailored TP set towards QA knowing the haste issues firsthand but still managed to cap it.
can add 2 more QA on another valorous legs but thought id be much better with DA5 since that acc, attk covers body low 9s I will run another sim for QA2 legs and see. I am not a fan of QA all over. There is a smoothness and consistency in terms of damge and tp gain that you give up going from very high da to get smaller amounts if qa...which you generally also give up other stats to get. It makes damage and tp gain erratic.
Not saying its wrong and i get the math working in its favor. I am just not a personal fan of it...cause lucky streaks also means unlucky streaks...i dont like dropping my damage floor ---------------------------------------------------------

By using Sim DA5 sets for Rho [perfect augments] and switching Belt/neck like the others: --------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------D----------------------------- Simulated Average: rhongomiant 4533.65 (WS : 16348.46 ) AA Percent: 0.43 WS Percent: 0.57 ItemSet 354261 //10 STR 25 AccAtk DA5 Body// 10 STR 25 AccAtk DA5 Legs// I guess the whole issue was switching neck/belt and thats were the whole confusion came from between all of us. Because Perfect Rho Set "D" wins Trish perfect set "B" by 4.9% once you do the switch. "Best" Trish set:
~4400 no rolls ~5175 SAM roll ~5825 SAM + WAR rolls "Best" Rho set: ~4500 no rolls ~5175 SAM roll ~5800 SAM + WAR rolls Trish QA set: ~4400 no rolls ~5200 SAM roll ~5875 SAM + WAR rolls Kat Rho set: ~4475 no rolls ~5100 SAM roll ~5650 SAM + WAR rolls I didn't mess around with QA options too much, but more or less used the same set as Kat uses just used Ios belt instead. I kept everything at the "default" settings, which isn't really a default, just what I happened to save it as when I uploaded. So attack is a few hundred points off of being capped for all sets and no changes in the sets to accommodate the rolls which could swing things a little more than this. I feel like you two are having the greatest heated agreement ever.

Using your same set but with HQ Io belt, I get ~4500 no rolls. Fenrir.Cherrywine

Just one is sufficient. The buffs used for higher content should be used to test DPS on lower content. Leaving as many variables constant is good science!
I'm sorry your sim doesn't seem to support real game mechanics. Fenrir.Cherrywine said: » The buffs used for higher content should be used to test DPS on lower content. and no, it isn't. you should be using buffs for the situation. the situation you wanted was cp farming since you think even that is too difficult unless you have extra buffs another set doesn't require. and a blm with malaise is going to net you more cp than using another buff so the monk you don't want to take to anything anyways, can do maybe 2-3% more dps despite slowing down the goal of killing it faster. Fenrir.Cherrywine said: » I'm sorry your sim doesn't seem to support real game mechanics. All tests are aligned with the following (so far):
One last note, I think there was a tiny mistake when you compared QA set with Trish vs My Set. My set needs to be tested on both if you talk QA only, Perfect Rho vs Perfect Trish are Okay but my findings vs Perfect Trish with my QA set was only done to show why I was debating the whole time about it. You need to limit variables of comparison: Perfect vs Perfect. Kat Trish vs Kat Rho. Kat Trish vs Kat QA Rho. Kat QA Trish vs Kat QA Rho. Kat QA vs Perfect Trish and Perfect Rho. Thats what I did before in order to make my set the (common factor between all variables simply because perfect sets are extremely hard to obtain "probability wise") Ramuh.Austar said: » Trish QA set: ~4400 no rolls ~5200 SAM roll ~5875 SAM + WAR rolls This, without doing QA Rho as well. Yeah this one then needs to be done on Rho as well! not just Kat QA2 set I used QA3 on both body and legs when those pieces were used.

I still get a few hundred less. Do you have blessing on, or escha buffs maybe? Oh I can share my Trish set and its exactly 4HIT, Sidra can confirm too we tested together [Legs with STP 8, Empy body +1, Perfect Acro, Flamma +2 for both]
Definitely other factors can bridge the 1% [perfect sets] gap, and I'm a full advocate of human error/lag factors. Yet we don't have perfect sets do we? and my own sets have 3.5% difference~ can't even imagine other players percentages. Ramuh.Austar said: » I still get a few hundred less. Personally I got lucky with WS arguments 15 STR 4% WSD on all and I didn't factor them in and used yours. For example Valorous feet got 15 STR 28Attk 33Acc WSD 4% after 98465846549584756498545764 Taupe. |
