What attack do you have in your set? And what kind of defense down are you using?
Bahamut.Shozokui said: » I tried it. I was not wild about it. At attack cap with Gleti's, holding for the 2k threshold, I was getting 43k WS AVG on Impulse Drive. My WS avg with Trishula is about the same. You wasnt at attack cap. Probably not even close. With Gleti's and +2 neck you need to reach almost 5.9 pdif to cap. Assuming you don't use any def down, in Shaol C you probably need 7000-8000+ attack depends on floor. I suggest to use this..
ItemSet 365613 It's more balanced. In sheet this gets 64k avg with capped attack and (R25, so if you have R20 its slightly less) 2235 effective TP. At 3000 effective TP it's 90k avg (yes 90000). EDIT: That was with ML0 and /war. With ML30 it's 67.5k and 94.5k Nice new earring -- Sroda Earring. Master gets +7DA with wyvern alive. Was confirmed by seperate testing. I tested the "pet melee attack damage +10" real quick. It seems to be flat +10% damage added to wyvern melee attacks. Tested for wyvern elemental attacks just to see, but had no additional effect there.
I was lucky enough to get a Sroda Earring through some gobbiedials, but was trying to see what the use-cases would realistically be for it? As of right now I'm just seeing it as a jump piece with the extra % DA, but wanted to know if there are any pet-centered DRG strats that I should realistically keep it for (e.g. pet white damage strats or something)
If you're not worried about getting killed for having -evasion and -magic evasion, it's an excellent TP earring.
Did some tests to see if the Relic body adds the new subjob traits from Mastery Levels. Turns out it doesn't.
I'm currently ML31 (sub jobs at 55) and I tested with sub WAR, MNK, and SAM. For WAR and MNK I tested the Max HP Boosts with only a level 1 weapon and the Relic Body +3 equipped jumping on things. From WAR the wyvern only received 30 HP instead of the 60 it should get from level 50 trait and MNK only gave 180HP instead of 240 with the level 55 Trait. No HP Boost : 1891HP Sub WAR : 1921HP Sub MNK : 2071HP For SAM just tested the STP. Wyvern has a delay of 320, base TP per hit of 95 and gained 109 TP with the sub SAM trait. That's 15 STP instead of the 20 SAM gets at level 50. Not really a big loss, the bonus TP gain or additional jump damage from the max HP increase would have been nice. Yeah, I submitted a bug report for this over 6 months ago on the official forums Here. It's been in accepted bugs ever since, but not corrected. Sub-job Job Abilities acquired through Master Levels also do not transfer to wyvern from Spirit Link / Empathy. Anyone have updated sword / savage blade sets for DRG?

Just want to make sure I’m setting my set properly. I got Gleti's body beating Odin at R25. I don't like using Peltast's legs+1 due to the huuuge acc and atk loss. But yeah, +2 will likely address that and probably push them well above gleti's for Drakesbane.

Did anyone ever test, back in the day, if the ODD effect works on weaponskills? Ramuh.Austar said: » they don't Really would have been nice if body had DT over legs or feet.
After seeing WAR body was really hoping for that. The PDL/DT should have 100% been swapped between body and legs. Makes no sense.
Then again, legs with PDL AND crit damage AND all that acc and attack would be absolutely filthy. Looking again a little closer at some of these stats...
The body is a straight upgrade over Hjrrandi body for Ryu AM3 TP sets. 3 more STP, 30 more MEVA, 10 more DEX, 7 more acc, 11 more attack, and then the PDL for white dmg I guess (lol?). AND it has 3% haste to boot, because hjrrandi has 0% haste which can make some configurations of TP sets a little funky to put together. Downside is you lose the -12 DT, but if you are going for all out DPS its straight up better. And that is only the +2 version. Can always have plackart in your TP-STP set and hjrrandi in your TP-DT set I suppose. Legs obviously beat Gleti's or anything else for Drakesbane, +3 will just widen the gap. Feet for a high acc/max DT set? Bit of a reach there... Head is a solid alternative to nyame for polearm WSD sets (camlann's/geirskogul?)/savage blade. +3 compared to nyame r30 will be an interesting toss up. I think you would still use blistering for stuff like impulse and drakes, relic+3 for stardiver, gleti's for attack cap etc. Asura.Lunafreya said: » Legs obviously beat Gleti's or anything else for Drakesbane, +3 will just widen the gap. Not obviously. It beats Gleti's by super small margin at capped attack, but it's obviously way better, because it doesn't need higher attack to function and it's especially tough on Drakesbane. |
