Title pretty much says it all was just wondering if Blu had any uses anymore in end game.

It's a powerful job if you take it seriously and play it well, but the trick is finding people who are willing to take a BLU to anything relevant, as it's generally not a preferred DD.

I'd take a good BLU over most DD's for most things, but I'm a little biased.

if BLU is played well and the person knows what he is doing, BLU Can out DD most ppl and on top of that they have "Headbutt" (Low MP , Low Recast , Low spellcast "STUN") , Sudden Lunge (Another Stun spell) among others, however the fact that they can "SOLO" Skillchain and "SOLO" Magic Burst helps them be an amazing DD on itself.

They can also Buff, Debuff , Heal , and Restore MP and HP Gradually.

the best part about playing BLU is hunting the spells :D

when I had spells to hunt I Would team up with other BLU and go get them ^^

Unfortunately I no longer have any spells left to get :(

Well, hope it helped a bit ^^/

Make sure you get ALL Spells

As someone who considers himself a Blu first and foremost, I would definitely say not to consider it as your "primary job" before you've got another more universally desired job decently geared for endgame.

Bluemage can participate in at least passably in any endgame content (But then again, so can any melee if well geared and well played), that said, it's not really desired by the community except in two endgame events that I can think of, Bee and Shark lowman delve.

In Ceizak, Absolute Terror is wonderful for the Transcendant Scorpion @50%, and Requiescat is nice for the Gnat and Bee.

In Foret, Absolute Terror is nice on Neverrik, though with a decent stunner, this is not as attractive as it once was, it's still a plus. And Requiescat is still somewhat nice on Krabakarpo when he's got his PDT up, though again, not as helpful as it once was.

Any other endgame event, Blu can certainly be passable, but it's not really desired by most people, if you want to get into events, work on a support job first, if you absolutely hate support jobs, I would recommend starting with RNG, SAM, or MNK, use this to gear your BLU enough to get him into events he may not be that desired for with lesser gear, if you like.

It's pretty good in Yorcia with erasga to deal with flash, white wind for quick AOE cures and plantoid killer trait procs a decent amount even on Wopket.

Generally you'd rather have a WHM do either of these actions than turn a melee's damage off to do them.

That said, the erasega spam is nice on a few fights, because of all the aoe-erase-needed debuffs (namely slow when you've got stupid erasable debuffs making you hit them instead of slow). But it's generally not enough of a reason to take one.

Diffusion+Erratic Flutter is nice too, when you don't have a RDM and aren't fighting something that removes it, but again, these aren't things people generally consider worthy enough to take a Blu over, disabling the timesink stun on scorpion and the charmga on Neverrik is, at least for the people I've played with.
