Eudaemon Alluvion Skirmishes
If quick magic can go above 2% or be combined with Fast Cast, that will be the best precast instrument for Bard. Otherwise it is the same as Impatiens.
Any list of weapons that drop in each place?
Essenceivis said: » So looks like these weapons can hold two augments. One of the "Snow" category, and one of the "Leaf" category. what sucks for COR is rng attk/acc and reg attk acc are under Sno i would loved a Gun with MAB 20 and Rng acc15 or maybe Occ shoots twice? i put a leaf on gun and gave me Cure pot 2% doh lol. Some info about the new skirmish people may find useful. The info our ls has gathered so far big thanks to atticus for this.
As for drops they appear as follows: Cirdas - Katana, Bow, Polearm, Great Katana, Flute, Club, Gun, Shield Rala - Staff, Scythe, Greatsword, Sword, H2H, Axe, Great Axe, Dagger there have been reports of some of the weapons coming from the other skirmish zone which might be they can drop from either they just have a higher chance with one or the other. The stones are put into sets of 4, Tip, Slit, Dim, and Orb of which there is 2 kinds, Snow and Leaf. One can put an augment from EACH a Snow and a Leaf but not 2 snows or 2 leafs. The Leaf and Snow stones are being theorized to work like so - that snow- augments are main stats like acc/atk/racc/ratk/mab - that leaf- augments are more unique stats like waltz/da/haste/fc - each set of slit/tip/dim/orb have a higher chance to target the augment you want (slit=melee, tip=ranged, dim=mage, orb=pet) but can give you augments from any other pool at a low % as well for the types of stone, they're looking like this Slit: Melee DD Tip: Ranged DD Dim: Mage/Support Orb: Pet jobs The stones aren't only going to give you those kinds of augments, they just have a higher chance of giving you those augs and they may all pull from the same augment pool. There also seems to be tiers to the alluvion skirmishes like the old skirms. The tier of the skirmish is determined by the Eudaemon item you trade in and it is thought of that the tiers are as follows Blade = T1 Cape = T2 Ring = T3 Sash = T4 Shield = T5 Some floors can be a special boss floor that starts with a cutscene. One of the bosses is this Name: Balamor's Adumbration Normal hits vary… A "Gun" like finger-shoot thats conal, a move where he hurls a black ball at the ground which is AoE… Didnt see the others. TP Moves: "Setting the Stage" - Not sure what it did. He spoke in chat "Bwehehe! What will the critics think of this? - This is likely the Physical immunity TP move reported, I'd stun it. "Feast of Arrows" - AoE heavy-ish Damage ~1k+. "Regurgitated Swarm" - AoE Medium damage 500~800 "Cruel Joke" - AoE Doom –- DD noted one of these Amnesia'd, another Slow'd. Not sure which. Spells: Death (Single Target) AoE Impact/Single target spells (Like Comet). (comet about 700 dmg or so) Spammed Sleepga at one point (like 5-6 times in a short period) Spammed Silencega at one point as well. Offline

It's also worth noting he can ranged attack, tried to kite while our members unweakened and he could still hit me with that "black ball" animation. Can I add that once we hit balamor's Adumbration floor that it was covered with twitherym type mobs that didn't agro but we proceeded to kill them all anyway. Bard and geo both 1houred for this fight as we didn't know what to expect and it dropped like a fly. Party setup was geo brd whm sam sam monk. killed easily (eudaemon ring 3/3/3 cirdas run)

So far I've managed to uncover:
Gun, Sword, Bow, Great Katana, Flute from Cirdas, Dagger, Staff, Axe, Great Sword, Scythe from Rala. Have yet to see Katana, H2H, Club, Shield or Polearm. Edit: Trixta got that covered, lawl. I was proven wrong I woke up this morning so happy to go pick up my Millennium Horn and prepare myself to go turn it in. Now? Not so much.

It's still the best debuff horn! /cry Quetzalcoatl.Guthrie said: » I woke up this morning so happy to go pick up my Millennium Horn and prepare myself to go turn it in. Now? Not so much. Really shouldn't look at it that way, this just makes it easier for people to pick up bard. If you've started building a ghorn it's assumed you're going for +4 anyway... So really it doesn't take away anything from your accomplishment. Unless +3 is suddenly better than +4? The +3 is augmented into the already existing +1 the weapon has. It is a +4 wind instrument. gHorn still is best debuff instrument and has been something I wanted for a long time, I'm still going to be happy to finally have it. I'm just going to sit, wait, and wish they decide to iLv the gHorn soon.

makes me wonder if the shield has a boosted block rate or something
Well, this is surprising from SE to trash this way a high level item.
Makes me wonder if SE plans in an ilv gjallarhorn for +5, or just troll all brds who spent 100m for their horn. Waiting for an aftermath augment for the sake of "balance"... They did this to every other relic. Why is this surprising?
Ilevel horn won't be coming.
The purpose of this instrument (Alluvion one) is to "close the gap" between us Ghorn users and everybody else. If they were to raise the gap again (by giving Ghorn +5) then this whole operation would become meaningless. Also, +4 is already too powerful, in a way, getting it to +5 could create further balance issues for SE to address someway. With the ilevel hypothesys out of the way, this is a big kick in the balls, comparable to when SoA came out and no update was planned for RMEs. Well, not that big of an impact, but similar let's say. Back then people insurged, and Matsui was forced to announce an ilevel upgrade, which would have come a few months later. This time what's gonna happen? Absolutely nothing. Not enough bards, their voice won't be as sound, SE won't do anything and everybody else will actually be happy "Hah! About time you guys feel what we DD RME owners felt when SoA was released!!", with the difference that they managed to get a "solution" to that issue through the ilevel upgrade, whereas us Bard will be just left to suck it. Dunno, we just have to accept it, period. Horn still get a bit more macc than an Alluvion Horn, hardly worth the 100+ mils gil, but hey, nothing else we can do, can we? I still think it's unfair, if they wanted to close the gap they had to give +3 total, not +4... indirect balance of relics, now all but one of them is useless!

Yeah but, how easy is it to Aug this? Is a luck thing... because if it is, I might as well *Finish* my Ghorn. If I didn't have bad luck, I would have no luck at all.
