You gotta admit, deconstructing the environmental role of the Bald Eagle was a new one for FFXIAH.com. Credit where credit is due to Blazed.

For the record, anyone who says that the symbol of America is anything other than the Bill of Rights is a dumbass.

First and only secular Radical Christian (pretends to be secular) state founded for the protection of the individual who ever is useful at the time against the group deemed 'the enemy' guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, enforced by the rule of law intimidation and brute force, protected by the militia from threats within and without forced aboard.

That is why American Exceptionalism isn't just some annoying thing Republican's go on about, it's a historical fact myth.

***, the UK is technically still a Theocracy under the Monarchy who still is head of the Church of England.
ftfy.

American history is filled with hating and persecuting individuals that are from one group to the next group.

It's easier to list ethnic groups and cultures that America hasn't persecuted.

Here's where your post falls apart: I said "Founded", I never meant to imply America hasn't wiped its *** with the values. And the go-to rebuttal will probably be slavery, but it's easy to say in hindsight that "One world-shaking revolution at a time wasn't enough! #contextuallyoblivious"

I guess if I wanted to play the bonus round, I'd point out that there is no group in Human History that hasn't hated and persecuted individuals outside the group, which is exactly what made America's founding so exceptional. It set forth a legal protection against that kind of mob mentality, the fact that it was never even attempted until America speaks volumes toward the rest of humanity.

Most of the time, though, it's hard to get people to not view historical events through a modern lens. Things that are "duh" now may have been inconceivable at the time.

I say we go back to beer and kittens, and betting on when Hamas breaks the next ceasefire.

There won't be another ceasefire, Israel has just stated it won't stop until Hamas cease's to exist. Previously this was a limited war, I now expect Israel to escalate into total war. Lots of people are about to die as Israel will target and raze anywhere Hamas is, and since Hamas like to operate under civilian buildings you can expect most of Gaza to be rubble. Eventually Hamas will heroically flee to another country where they will go back to the old strategy of encouraging their faithful to be suicide bombers, while the religious leadership stays away from anything resembling a dangerous situation.

That is what you get when you elect a group like Hamas into power. It's also the reason why the Egyptian military tossed out the Muslim Brotherhood, much to the dismay of Progressives everywhere.

Actually their mission right now was to destroy the tunnels. They have already begun to withdraw tanks and now just have forces deployed along the border in the event of more rocket attacks.

Nice try preaching more genocide and hatred though.

First is a highly biased site but they have the video of the announcement. They won't stop with the tunnels and airstrikes are going to be stepped up.

From Fox, for those that read it.

CNN seems a bit quiet on the situation. I don't ever go to MSNBC, don't want to feed them ad revenue.

From the 2nd source, as it's the least biased one:
Quote:
Netanyahu said Hamas would pay an "intolerable price" if it continued to attack Israel.

Israel killing civilians as the Ambulances come to take care of the wounded - They bomb the Ambulances as well

YouTube Video Placeholder

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqWM-ygt7Kg#t=240

Doesn't seem to be working, so posted direct link.

Translation of most of the voices:
"There is no god but god" - Cameraman saying this as others do. Cameraman died.
Muslims say "There is no God but God" in hopes of meeting their creator in the next life with their final act being a good one.

The rest is from random people who were obviously hurt or killed by the bombing.
"My arms, my arms are gone"
"Oh God have mercy"
"Damn you Israel.. Damn you Israel"
"Ambulance....Ambulance..Someone call an Ambulance"
"My brother isn't moving.. please someone get an Ambulance"
"I leave it to God, I leave it to God"

I'm a little disappointed this discussion never got into the Kingdom of Khazaria or how the right of return actually refers to area that's mostly in present day Georgia (the country).

Oh well, next time.

We did get into the holocausts, but meh, everyone does that.

ftfy.

Like someone in this thread said, it's their fault for voting for Hamas, not the people who fired off the missiles or bombs.

Democracy!

Not that I agree with it, but that's the consensus here it seems.

Almost 300 children killed alone in this conflict, but blame the parents for voting for Hamas. Israel is just defending itself.

Now of course if this happened somewhere else, the opinions would be vastly different depending on where and who it is.

One video, that one person posts because they were trying to get it to start at a certain time frame hardly constitutes 'you guys.'

Fair enough. It's because you can't use the links to start at a specific frame or time reference and usually better to use the share link youtube gives in the share tab.

I'll take that as long as you're also willing to admit that there are a great deal of Americans who have no idea what it is going on in Palestine and speak very passionately for Israel based on what their local churches and politicians quote from the Bible and other racist dogma.

Absolutely. Neither side is innocent in this. Hamas is being stupid and Israel is taking the attacks too far, in my opinion.
