See what we get from destabilizing the British Empire?
The royal family is actually made of shapeshifter reptilians who are soon gonna take over the world in the name of Satan.

I mean come on, it's a well known fact.

Pfft, Do you guys even brew up in canada?

you have to buy it before their lame *** 8:00pm bedtime!
We brew Quite a lot of beers and other liquors. Mostly Whiskey.

Also, we don't go to bed until we're hungover, which doesn't happen until 4:00 AM, or 26 beers, and 17 shots of whiskey later.

Pfft. I've yet to meet an American who doesn't get completely pastered into the ground after 5 beers.

Can't help it if your beers are really watered down crap.

Correction: I don't drink, so I can't talk.

watered down beers don't get people drunk.

Canadians just have a higher tolerance level to alcohol, much like the Irish. Except we make the Irish our *** when it comes to drinking.

Why would you imply that "hope" is needed? It's just P&R on FFXIAH, for crying in the mud. :/

Bars don't do last call, until around 2-3AM, and close up at 4AM.

This year though, bars closed at 4Am and opened at 7Am during the Calgary Stampede event.

Truth is often stranger than fiction.

Also this:

"With fiction, you have to have rules, guidelines, and some kind of science; Reality is much harsher, and doesn't need to follow those rules"

or something. It was a semi-famous quote, and i'll buy a beer for the first person to find the correct quote.

You say "high tolerance of alcohol" like it's a good thing.

I wish I could still get hammered on as little booze as it took me when I was a college freshman. My wallet and liver would be much happier.

Whatever you say. Being Canadian has nothing to do with it, though.

The only people who readily brag about how much they can drink are still too stuck in a college-level mindset. If you're counting your drinks, you're an amateur.

Edit: Also, you know that high tolerance for alcohol's effects doesn't equate to your liver, kidneys, or - if you're a lifelong alcoholic, your heart - somehow having less damage due to your alcohol consumption? You may not readily feel the effects during each drinking session, but rest assured that the more it takes you to get hammered, you're than many steps closer to cirrhosis or cardiomyopathy.

Only reason to count your drinks, is to double check the receipt.

Some bartenders like to nail you with double gratuity charges, or drinks you never ordered.

Or you didn't drink enough.

In either case, drink more beer until you forget how many you had.
